
Teen beginners bodybuilding training - squats - Buff Dudes

1. I Use only dumbbells.
2. I rest from 1 to 10 minutes between sets. depends which muscles I'm training.
3. I use Protein shake - 86% protein with BCAA.
4. Protein shake after workout.
5. 10 sets - 10 reps or 5 sets - 10 reps or 3 sets - 10 reps
6. Take 1 or 2 days per week to rest.

Take him through the fundamentals well guys, I'm having to PT for my friends who are also the same age as me (16-17) and their squats are terrible. For now, they're not moving on to any weight and I'm trying to simply get their mobility up.
Hit a new PR yesterday though, 140kg ATG squat. Hehe.

Guys cut him some slack I've been working out 3x a week at 6am before school for a few months now (I'm 15) I almost always feel like crap until I've got through my warm ups but I'm still making amazing progress and don't even look my age anymore. I wish him all the best of luck

It took me a solid 3-4 months when I started to actually get the squat down. I had mobility problems going parallel/below parallel etc. Now it's one of my favorite lifts and I can go ass to grass.

This video is awesome, but when I try to Squat with my knees bent outside, they make Some kind of cracking-noise and afterwards they hurt like hell.
What Should I do?

He has a little bit of a problem with the neutral chin on some of these lifts, but I guess that's normal for some people just starting out.

doesn't back squats stunt your growth, since the bar is placed on your back and maybe ur neck if u dont have big traps ( what my sports coach said )

Huge difference for me in terms of stability and strength when squatting: take off your sneakers and squat either barefoot or with a rigid outer sole
