Don't know if you go-back for late comments, but:
I'm not sure I fully understand the part when reaching straight-up (I can definitely appreciate the transition to this pose, I do both arms and then slightly tilt to the side to stretch-out [the obliques? -- I'm not well-versed in anatomy) of the knee-down side.
Another more major modification I added was to [I think they're called dive-bombs] from the downward dog position to cobra-ish pose, then go to plank where I do a [shoulder blade push-up? -- don't know what these are called], followed by a normal push-up. The rest goes as normal (aside from the side stretch noted above.
I started doing this modified version almost every day (missed here & there) for at least a couple of months, so I think this vid was a very helpful starting point.

I don't think you every show the complete stretch from beginning to end (including the switch to other side) at a normal speed. You break each part down but don't show the whole exercise. The explanation is okay, but you miss the forest for the trees.
Also, I think you mention that you only need to do a minimum of 5 reps but you don't make any other recommendation on the number of reps.

I do the Sun Salutation every morning (about 5 rounds) and it seems to cover most of what you are covering. When I am in the move after the -downward dog-, I add the reaching twisting stretches you have (way cool) in your routine. If I can-t do a full yoga workout, I can get the SS done in about 10 minutes.

I do these stretches every morning! I-m 54, and I just assumed my aches and pains when I woke up we-re just part of aging - but after a few weeks of doing these stretches, I-m back to doing squats and lunges. Thanks for sharing your wisdom Cori!

That elbow-to-the-floor thing ain't happening for this old guy. I've worked on that (and other hip stuff) for four months with no appreciable gains in mobility.

Thank You Cori, this is great! Watched this 3 times (third time in slow motion) so I could catch everything as I practiced.
