I am certified pilates instructor, this video is a good workout, but shouldnt be confused with actual pilates. There is only one set thats similar to pilates, everything else is a bodyweight bootcamp style. There should be specific cuing for the scoop ribcage and safety for the low back. Some of these exercises are contraindicated according to afaa, acsm. And some other certifying bodies. Where did she get her training. Now i do throw in moves not traditional to pilates for my classes, but cuing the pilates form and pillars of what pilates does is not present, therefore this is NOT a pilates class. Be careful if it dosnt feel good, and hurts dont do it. Know hour body.

Loved this! Thanks so much! One thing about bulky calves: that was a large concern of mine when I was in ballet classes. I didn't want to run because that tends to bulk up calves more than dancing does. It IS possible to have muscular calves without them being super bulky like runner's calves. ballet did that for me, but I don't know any other methods.

This is my go to workout for many years now. I love when you say don't worry, it's a flexibility thing for some of the moves- that helped me not get down on myself and keep going! Love that it's coming up on 10 years- thank you for all your videos!

So, I want to thank you for helping me to start of my workout journey today. All in all, I'm looking to just be a healthier (and slimmer) me, and the this was awesome! I forgot how fun pilates was. Probably because I remember how much it kicks my butt (_)

Today was the first time I've been able to touch my head to my knee when doing that side oblique stretch! I'm so excited because I haven't been working out as hard as I should, but I'm recommitting myself so I can keep seeing improvements: D

i'm following the beginners workout calendar and i am on day 7, which is supposed to be my rest day. I really dont wanna take a rest though! i'm still a little sore and i wanna do this workout. i am just afraid that it will make me TOO sore. help?
