Sagarmatha is THE NAME of the mountain. People who don't know the name call it Everest which is not official, it's just the guy's last name who lead the first measuring team of the mountain when they didn't know the name. Out of connivence to refer to it, was called Everest then, which has been continued ever since without being aware of it.

I did this flight with Buddha Air a few years ago. It was amazing as were the crew who were helpful and informative to a fault. One tip: Dont buy a coffee or any beverage at the airport before boarding. The bus to the plane is such a bone-shaker you will be hard pushed to keep any in the cup.

Thanks for the video! The view is incredible. I just dont believe it I just saw the video as same as the story of my Professor that she had a trip to see mount everest using a plane and she invited to the cockpit too. Just like your experience in this video! Thanks!

OMG! the thing is that I'm scared to fly in normal airplane, I don't know if I could do something like this, even if we are talking about Everest. but nice experience, amazing view!

Thank you so much and so interesting. I u[graded to 1900d instead of King Air and can attest Beechraft make fine and sturdy aircraft and can handle anything so good choice.

This is definitely the way we would visit Everest, fantastic views. Love the name of the airline but I wouldn't recommend nervous fliers look it up on Wikipedia.

What an amazing trip! Flying to Mt. Everest would be awesome, no worries about altitude sickness or having to get in shape. The cockpit visit was worth it!
