Here s Why It s Stupid to Buy an SUV
video description
I started riding on a Yamaha R6. 600cc Motorcycle. If you TAKE YOUR TIME learning to ride the bike and respect the bike and your own limits then you'll do fine on a 600cc motorcycle as your first bike. When I first got the R6, I practiced for 3 days learning the clutch position and feeling when it engages. I then went to a parking lot and practiced releasing the clutch and giving it very little throttle and eventually got up to riding around the lot at 15 -20mph. From there I learned about leaning the bike and how much lean you need for turns. From there i moved onto braking and how much pressure is needed to get to a point just before the brakes lock up (never want to lock them up but get a feel for just before they want to) so you know how much pressure you need to apply in an emergency situation. I then started learning about body position in low speed maneuvers and learned how to do figure 8's as to do a quick turn around without putting your feet down. All of this took about a week of practice to learn and get to a comfortable position on doing. From there I went to a bigger lot and did some normal launches like you would do at a traffic light and some emergency stopping and leaning into a turn and within a week and a half I was golden. Week after that practice, I ended up taking the MSF Course and learned WAY more than I thought I knew.
Also while practicing, and at a time when you are more comfortable, learn where your bikes powerbands are so you don't get into a situation where you can lose control. Do not do this when you are first learning.
Point is, you can start on a 600 and be safe doing so. Respect the bike, respect your limits, and practice practice practice. Also taking a motorcycle safety course helps in a big way as well and HIGHLY recommend doing that. NEVER push beyond your own limit. Thats how you will get into trouble. Most important suggestion I have for any CC motorcycle is this. If the bike does something that you are not comfortable with or scares you, like revving too high, or an engine failure locks up your rear brake, etc, PULL IN YOUR CLUTCH. It helps more than you may think.

For 10, 000 or less, I can get a 2012 Hyundai Tucson GLS AWD crossover with the 2. 4 L four-cylinder engine, which produces 176 horsepower and the six-speed automatic transmission with manual-shift capability. For 5, 000 or less, I can get a 2005 Chevrolet Malibu LT V6 sedan with the 3. 5 L V6 engine, which produces 201 horsepower and the four-speed automatic transmission, also with manual-shift capability. These are one of my favourite vehicles to own for the first time, because they both have the same gas mileage, compared to other vehicles. Also, they are both reliable and fuel-efficient. Not bad.

My car 2003 Malibu doesn't start when I crank it the first time. It normally starts when I crank it the second time. I blew my starter and now the new one is doing the same thing. It's better for few days when I charge the battery and the battery is from Sept last year. Does it seem like a problem with the alternator? When I tight one of the terminals to the battery it keeps on spinning freely but it's doesn't seem too loose. It seems like current would pass through that connection. Where should I start?
Thank you

Scotty the reveal for the 2021 bronco just dropped, and honestly i want to hear what you think on it. I am in my younger years being 22 atm, so looking towards getting a new vehicle to keep for quite some time Like 20+ years I will be doing my own work on the vehicle in terms of modifications. I just want an honest to god opinion on what you think about the new bronco especially the 2 door, and what you see in it.
Thanks if you do, if not i gotta say love your content man!

I don't buy SUVs, not even crossover SUVs cause they have higher centre of gravity to a sedan-like ground clearance station wagon. Basically station wagons have extra cargo capacity and practicality over sedan but have the driveabilty (or at least similar handling) like sedans. My station wagon have smoked SUVs and MPVs on corners and I wasn't even trying.
Anyway thanks for this vid cause I have no intention of buying SUVs.

To find a decent old SUV is getting harder since people want them more than brand new high tech costly SUV also truck.
Even my 2013 Honda Accord EXL with 280, 000 miles starting give me headache with the New ABS problem that expensive to fix about 5000 at quote by dealer.
I went to a local Honda mechanics that charge me 1, 5000. hell yeah it's still expensive for me.

Hey Scotty, I have been a fan of yours for awhile, I like your straight forward no nonsense approach to giving advice on cars. I like your Live free or Die logo so much that I got it tattooed on my my arm. I like to think I am the 1st to do so but probably not. I can send a pic of it if that were allowed and if I could figure out how to do so. Thanks for the inspiration you give.
