WOW BULLYING WORKS? New Sonic, Kylie Jenner Fake News, DACA, HORRIFIC Australia Fires, & More Sam Rodriguez: I am a DACA recipient, technically I was never here illegally. One, I was brought here when I was 3, so of course I had no say in it. 2, I didnt even know that I was undocumented until I was 15. 3, thanks to DACA, I was able to get a work visa at the age of 17. Which if you dont know, you arent actually considered illegal until you turn 18. I have continued to renew my visa 3 times (you have to renew it every two years) As you said, I have to have no criminal record, so I get a background check every two years. Im pretty sure Im not a criminal. Also, Im married to a citizen. Not only that, but we had a son. So I am the mother of a citizen as well. However, residency isnt just handed over when you get married. It takes ALOT of money to start the residency process. So at the moment Im still just on a visa. Im not a resident/citizen but Im also not undocumented. I just want to be a citizen in the country I love. Thank you for talking about DACA. Fun fact: David Dobrik is also a DACA recipient but he barely talks about it.

What I think needs to be taken into account is that the production team of the Sonic movie not only listened to the initial negative backlash, but they probably agreed with it too. Being able to not only hear criticism but to allow production to act positively upon it is a huge move for a multi-billion dollar companyIn regards to Australia, Im actually in the fire zone right now. Im not gonna pretend that we have fulfilled our promises to the Paris agreement, but using the funding we are doing great work in constructing some of the cleanest coal-fired plants that have ever existed, not only here but on other continents too. To hold Australia responsible for the use of the coal that it exports to other countries however is pretty dumb. We sell it; we dont tell the buyers how to use it. To hold us responsible for the emissions of power plants in China, youd have to hold the French and Chinese companies that own three of the five highest polluting coal-fired plants here in Australia responsible for said emissions. For our small population we contribute less carbon pollution than America (comparatively, we produce 1% globally compared to Americas 16%) But I can tell you that energy we get from coal is going into things like recycling plants, mining uranium for your nuclear plants, mining gold for your electronics and jewellery. A good chunk of households here have solar power too, so they only really use that dirty energy at night. So tell me, how does one country produce nearly 4 times the global emissions than another with almost the same population? 29% from China compared to 7% from India. Whos holding them responsible? How can you when youre so scared of them?

Thank you so much for the raw and honest depiction of what's happening here in Australia. It is absolutely a political problem, brought on by older generations who keep voting these pathetic and useless politicians in. We are incredibly ashamed of the little work that has been done for climate change and we are all demanding change as inland cities are currently running out of water and the rest are burning. Yesterday was probably the most tense and uneasy day of my life as I sat in my house waiting for a fire to be blown toward it causing me to evacuate. All our PM had to say about it was thoughts and prayers while he cut off the fuel cards of every fire fighter, causing them to have to fill up hundreds of trucks and cars to travel such a vast area of hundreds of thousands of kilometers and pay for it with their OWN money. Drastic change needs to happen in this country before anything is made right, but we're all going to burn or run out of water waiting.

This might have been the right decision for Sonic, specifically. However. There is a huge issue within fandoms where people seem to think that the fact that they spend money means that they have a say in future products etc. They forget that they aren't investors seeking repayment, they received goods whether it be movies, music, products, games, etc in exchange for the money spent. Having eaten at McDonalds a few times doesn't give you the authority to dictate the entire menu, you didn't invest in McDonalds you voluntarily exchanged money for goods. It's slightly less problematic with large companies, but you also see it with actors/musicians. Fans using the money they've spent in the past as justification for bullying individuals into behaving in a way that they want in their personal lives is unhealthy for the fans and the artists.

Global warming happens when you're leaving an ice age. Is mankind responsible no, are we speeding up the process yes. What do you offer that hasn't all ready been tried? Until we figure out a cleaner, better, cheaper, safer way to keep the world running. Crying climate change won't solve anything, throwing money at it won't do much but thats how capitalists work, money solves all problems for these people. 1. Get rid of private airplanes. 2. All public transport must be electric. 3. We all live on this planet India and China both have alot of money that isn't spent on green projects because their in development meaning they dont have worry about their mess.

For the first story, i see this as a studio realizing they have already lost money. This actually was a win for the studio/investors. Rather then releasing the movie and everyone hating it and the reviews being awful and it failing, they were able to save face, pump some more money into what was already invested to rework the animation, and now can release it and still hopefully entertain audiences and make a profit. If they don't it's still kinda a win because they're still the good guys in the public's eye, they listened to the outcry and fixed what would have been a disaster.

it's the aging government Fire season gets longer and longer every year, and it's gets closer and closer to the suburbs surrounding Sydney, where the main bulk of the population (in NSW) lives. I honestly think that aging politicians do not have whats best for the population and the future because essentially it doesn't affect them. Fires where within 20 minutes, of my parents house yesterday, and i remember just the sheer terror I had looking for rfs updates everything half an hour or so. THis is why I really respect the NZ prime minister at the moment

When where you are from makes the show for all the wrong reasons. But in all seriousness the fires in Australia have become just on politics and the liberal government making the assumtion that the people who died so far are green voters and that the fires are cause by green party legislation despite that none has ever been passed, when in reality the biggest problem is that our fire services have had dramatic cuts in funding due to the current liberal government the same who say it's the greens fault and the people who have died where greens voters

I think its important for movie making people to listen, like if you already have red flags before the movie comes out, listen to the criticism, you may not even change anything (like the recent Ghost Busters) but then you can't be surprised when it does badly. Its nice to see that they saw this was going to be a shit show and did something about it, like how sad would it be if you actually did a good movie but one little thing (like animation or a look of something) ruins it and it bombs over that. I liked that they changed it. Good for them.

Im an Australian fire fighter. From what Ive understand the fires have gotten worse due to funding cuts of rural fire service brigades, a reduction of hazard reduction burns from higher up (one of the best and easiest ways to prepare for a fire season) and a denial of climate change to put in place politics to help us in the long run. Its so frustrating seeing my colleagues on the front lines and everyone blaming each other. Give them more people and give them water. Deal with the fightjng later
