Wow! Joe rogan coronavirus controversy, lockdown protests spread like covid-19, & ppp loan problem M.: Health experts have repeatedly told these people it's not just another flu, meanwhile Trump is running around behind them downplaying it and all of rightwing media is just coming right out and saying it's just like the flu. Even Trump started off with that calling it a hoax. These people are idiots and they're politicizing something that should just be common sense. Listen to doctors and stay home so more people don't have to die. And sure, they could have legitimate concerns, but they don't. Most that they talk to whine about wanting to go get their hair done, go play golf, go watch movies, go to the beach. They're driving 50, 000 trucks and brandishing weapons worth thousands of dollars. They have enough money to run out and buy fresh Trump merch to wave around. they're out there for all the wrong reasons.

I'm very hopeful that soon people will realize that all these problems we're seeing economically are not at all warranted when you look at the raw numbers from covid. When you then apply the fact that 80% or more of the people who catch it have mild or no symptoms and that many deaths from the flu or pneumonia are being reported as covid, it becomes very clear that the death rate is extremely low among those who have caught it and it tends to kill the same people who would have also died from the flu or pneumonia. I say all that so I can say this, stop crying about every death and get the economy back up and running. This virus has killed people and we should take it seriously, but we should not allow it to cripple our entire nation. I care about old and sick people, I just care about the well-being of them along with everyone else more. It's not a fun thing to say or realize, but it will be what happens in the coming weeks, so be prepared for it.

Honestly I watched the full length pod cast of that JRE and I and hearing more about it i dont really have a problem with it. I mean he said this dude was his own doctor and Phil D said he paid for his guests testing so it's safe for all ppl involved which I think is reasonable. Bilut for so reason he is also the type of person to have all his guest in live and in person. Which I dont know why he is still doing live like all other mainstream talk shows are doing remote live feed hook ups with there guests from home so y cant he. At the same time getting tested does really mean shit right now. Unless u r still working and want to see if ur a carrier. I'm more interested in the cure a vaccine or medication to combat the disease. If I start to feel sick then I will get tested

The Joe Rogan situation is less a problem with Joe and his money and more a problem with our medical/pharma situation as well as this Administration. The FDA should be fully staffed. The CDC should be fully staffed. The Pandemic Response Team should never have been done away with. It is very likely that the amount of viable FDA approved tests would be much higher if things were as they should be. More FDA employees should equal more test evaluations. Who knows what the Pandemic Response team was working on before they got axed. The way I see it, the test that Rogan is administering would not be administered to anyone by their State or their medical care professionals. It's fair game.

In the end, I've seen several friends being told that not only that they lost their job but that they wouldn't be getting them back. I am extremely lucky to be able to not notice much changing in my life due to the WuFlu but the amount of people who have had their lives ruined due to the economic consequences that it has caused is truly terrifying. We need to reopen soon or that 22 million will continue to rise and our government can not handle this. So many companies are going out of business and a portion won't come back. The virus has taken a far greater toll than we will ever truly know and the amount of lives ruined by it need to be an eye opener for the entire world.

On Joe Rogan: disagree strongly with Philly D. Right now, to be able to reopen the economy in safe conditions that prevent further resurgence of Covid-19 and deaths, ALL labs that have PCR or antibody testing capabilities (and this is less about the method approved by the FDA then the technical capabilities of the lab - this includes veterinary and agricultural labs for instance - they all have the capability to follow government issued guidelines to respond to the needs of their community) should be dedicated by government mandate to do government directed testing. The sale of tests to private individuals is uniquely immoral in this time of crisis.

Just want to chime in about New Zealand lifting restrictions. We have been in lock down for 4 weeks and have gone from 100 cases a day 3 weeks ago to average of about 9 cases a day now. We have lots of testing and contact tracing. Going from level 4 to level 3 lock down witch is Still mostly shut but can do things like go to the beach but we can't see people out side of your household. So it possible that we might have eradicated the virus in a week or two. Also we trust our government is doing the right thing.

I've lived in Nova Scotia the past 17 years, news of this shooting has spread far and wide out here and it's just surreal- I used to go walk past the denture clinic owned by the shooter almost every day. The one silver lining I can give to the timing of this shooting is that it took place during COVID, the parking lot where he was. terminated is usually filled to the brim with people on weekends. If not for how many of us are isolating ourselves, he may very well have taken dozens more with him.

Thank you for speaking on the shooting in my province. we re a tiny, close knit, and proud province on the east coast. We re mainly comprised of small-towns where you know your neighbours, and care for eachother. This shooting rocked us to our core. 19 dead and counting, 16 crime scenes. The RCMP officer that lost her life was married to one of my highschool teachers. Constable Heidi Stevenson was a caring lady, who was active with the youth in her community. We will not forget her service.

These protesters are misplaced with their outrage, yelling at the states to reopen jobs, what they should really be protesting is the government and trump, tell them to do a better job at handling this situation, trump and many politicians have fumbled the ball so hard in their response to this country its insane they can see and hear all the things trump is doing and still support him and give him their vote in the upcoming election.
