While it may seem like she go off with a slap on the wrist consider (as I'm sure the judge did) that no one was injured in the incident. If someone had been the charges and consequences would have been more severe. That said, please remember that she has not gotten off lightly. She is young, and now has a criminal record. For the remainder of yer life she will have to relive and explain herself any time she applies for: a job, a bank loan, a credit card, any government application (for pretty much anything, and among other things a passport. Speaking of passports, she will now be required to jump through extensive hoops if she ever wants to travel (once the world gets back to normal) and that's if the country she'd like to visit will even allow a traveller with a criminal record entry (many won't. She is young and made a foolish error, but make no mistake, she will live with it for the rest of her life.

RE: Britney - honestly it sounds like the situation I dealt with within my own family. Sometimes people get better due to medication - full faculties and all - for years - and then things change. From what I've seen the field of psychiatry is equal parts guess work as it is science because every physiology is different and everyone deals with their stuff differently. In my family member's case, they racked up thousands in debt due to their obsession with having stuff, eventually decided to stop taking medication because they were fine and didn't need it, which of course ended up in them eventually having to be forced to do so by court order. However after they got better they ended up not going back for subsequent treatments. Sometimes I wish that we did have more control to make sure they take their medication, but there's no way to change the past.

Honestly, with Chair Girl, I think the sentence is justified. If she had hurt someone it obviously would've been different. But no one was actually hurt, this time. If she had a more Devil May Care attitude, then sure! Throw the book at her! But, I think the judge thought she was sorry.
Kanye having Bipolar Disorder is news to me, but honestly he shouldn't get a free pass because of that. His behavior has always been horrible, and the Kardashians enabling him doesn't help.
I have no idea what's going on with Britney Spears, but I wish her the best.
China being shady isn't a surprise at all. Honestly this is one of the few times I agree with Trump. The Chinese government has been more and more expansionist lately.
Now if only they'd go after Russia for doing pretty much everything they are accusing China of.

As always this is a multi-faceted cluster-f ch, Trump has on several occasions complemented President Xi on his handling of both Hong Kong and the 're-education camps' and now as Trump, as usual, is changing the focus to divert the attention of both 'the world' and more importantly the American people in a bid to show his strength in dealing with China. As he has failed in his handling almost everything he made promises about, the wall, the affordable care act, the pandemic etc etc.

With Brittany Spears, I do fall on the side of it's none of the fans' business. If Brittany is being used and forced into silence, the fans might feel like they're doing the right thing. But if they're wrong, they're being completely self-centered and doing far more harm than good. If Brittany wants this to be a private thing, we need to respect that, and if the worst is happening, we can only hope the rest of her family, her friends, and the courts are watching out for her.

People with mental disorders should still be held accountable. But not to the same extend as a normal person.
But well. Kanye says a lot of shit. What's to be held accountable for? He can change his mind when he settles down. But say someone hears voices every second of every day, who tells him to kill someone. And ends up doing it. That person should still be dealt with, but not as a normal person. You can argue this person wasn't in full control.

during an episode people don't think like a normal person. he can't be held accountable for what he does in this state, his reasoning and thinking is impaired. this is why we have insanity plea and people with mental issues go to a hospital not prison. give me a break. its saddening that someone with bi polar disorder doesn't show compassion to another human being suffering from the same. there's some serious lack of knowledge here.

'Being young' is literally never acceptable excuses for criminal behaviour. We live in a world where activists are trying to get the voting age lowered, and if we are even to consider that, we have to start treating teenagers the same as adults when they commit crimes.
If, as someone says a little later in your video, mentally-ill Kanye must be held accountable for his actions, then this idiotic teenager should be held accountable for hers.

Kanye. sigh. as a BiPolar sufferer I just have to say. I actually respect Kim! Thanks for understanding the issue when it s moments like this that make a big difference. I don t get away with many of the things that I do during my moments I don t think he should get away with what he says but he will at least be able to know and learn. some of us just wake up and do t realise/remember why people are angry at us.
