DEAR LARRAY & EVERY INFLUENCER HAVING PANDEMIC PARTIES, Cognitive Tests, Unemployment Benefits boosti_: I m a 23 year old male and the people around my age make me so furious. People are partying in large groups and meeting up like nothings happening. My generation is so incredibly selfish and so self involved they never put the phone down to look around and see the harm they are directly or indirectly causing others.

Hey Phil, long time watcher (clock wall days) first time commenter - sorry about that. Just wanted to ask a (not so) quicky/give my ideas about the first update you mentioned about blacking out words to prevent the good ol' YT demonetisation. dick slap.
I know you have done/still do similar things but have you thought of having an extended or X-rated (because salacious titles get views and what can be more saucy than a new show with an X in the name) version of the PDS only available on your own domain where you can freely put anything you want in the show (similar to Rooster Teeth's model. I know you aren't one to let yourself be censored anyways and will generally always say what you want even if it means lost revenue but I feel this strikes a nice medium.
The reason I say this is because personally, having watched your stuff for a fair while now. I know if every day I was only getting the watered down/shorter YT version of the show when I watched I would gladly go to your site for an extra few mins of being philled in.
Or even, you could do a more candid commentary on the stories from each episode with more opinion (separated from the more objective take you do/attempt to do as best you can. Couple this with a well organised and/or moderated forum for each episode and I think it would make the community stronger.
Anyways, love the show and wish you, your family and the team at Philly D inc. the best
P. S. if you ever want a british PDS offshoot let me know

On the note of another stimulus package: I truly hope that either a) within the next week, 20+ Republican senators flip on their stance against the Heroes Act, and instead vote with the 45 Democrats and the 2 Independent senators to pass the bill, or b) the Republicans actively negotiate the specifics of the Heroes Act and agrees to pass the bill, in whatever form it has taken, by next Friday.
This is an election year, and many disenfranchised voters may seek to elect new, potentially more radical, officials to office in the hopes of forcing change. Worse, if both parties fail to act decisively, then there s a nonzero chance that anarchy, and/or open revolt, may sweep through the country. It s the scary side of civilization, but when the conventional means of enacting change fails, then the final recourse is violence and death. These are trying times, and without clear leadership, unity and empathy we will lose more than our livelihoods. I m appalled that we ve reached such a critical juncture in the history of our democracy, but the situation, as it currently stands, is untenable at best and implosive at its worst.

RE: Unemployment
I have the fortune of having a job that hasn't been impacted by COVID-19, but I'm extremely worried about the amount of the payout to people. In my opinion, people on unemployment have been lucky that they're making more from unemployment than from their old jobs, and I truly hope that they can still get those benefits. But as an essential worker, I'm barely making enough to cover my utilities and have trouble providing food, gas, toilet paper, and I can't even renew my vehicle registration since I had to pay 500 after it was hit when I wasn't inside it. I'm worried I'm one more major incident away from financial ruin, and that no one in power cares about those of us who still go to work because we haven't affected like the unemployed have been.

I'll take the 200 a week over nothing. it'll mean I'll deff have to go back to eating ramen every day but I'll still be able to afford my bills so I don't care. If they only leave me with unemployment (which is lower than what I made at my job) I won't be able to afford my rent, electricity, health insurance and phone bill. I could always go without a phone plan but I still owe for the actual phone so I'd still have to pay that, and I am currently taking meds so I deff need to keep my health insurance so my meds are free.

As an essential employee it is extremely disheartening to know that I and my coworkers risk our lives every day and dont receive even close to that amount. I'm all for extending the 600 till the end of the year but please understand that the guy working him/her self to the grave at the grocery stores didn't get to sit at home this whole time and didn't make half of what you guys did. Please be kind. We're not well

I went to the twitter of these social media people, and their fans are defending them like they did nothing wrong. Its truly scary how much influence these people have over young people, and the fact that the way they are makes them think it was ok with what they did.

There's also a dementia test made initially at Ohio State that is really widely used called the SAGE exam which also has elements of memory recall and is convenient because it's free and can be printed off and given on paper or administered and tallied electronically

I know Ireland is not as big but if you made more then 350 a week you got 350 a week if you got less you get 200 a week not crazy har cuz in Ireland you get taxed before you get your money so it was super easy for them to roll it out

A small group of TikTok creators I follow got together (there has never been more than 5 different ones at any given time) but they have clearly done so by following regulations set by the CDC for small gatherings.
