I actually have a chemical imbalance where I don't produce enough dopamine. I produce enough adrenaline so during a physical activity I still keep going, but I have little to no reward during and after the activity. For any type of work I can't seem to get myself to start at a resonable time and have a habit of procrastinating. This video is addressing a fault I see in myself and provides steps to help change it, but it is doubtful I will be able to even start doing it despite wanting to. It is an odd feeling to have.

I break the task into smaller tasks. so I feel more often that I accomplished something, that helps me stay motivated and excited through the whole big long task. like for writing. I break write 500 words a day into write 50 words every hour. or just 10 words every five minutes. Or I make the boring task like cleaning into something I like or even a bit funnier like first I clean everything that is blue and then things that are fuzzy etc.

I have been really stressed lately. Everyone around me seems to have a perfect social and work life, approaching their goals more closer. I just keep on stepping in the same place just to get started. Now exam is coming and I am more struggled to see my potential. Thankfully this video has given me what I want, I just need to do it myself.

I guess I think about the finished product, since I'm making a webcomic. I've put a lot of thought into the world and characters and seeing them in action is fantastic. And the thought of others enjoying them motivates me to share it, because I can get critique on it as well as share my pride and joy with the world.

Everytime i get motivated to do something i normally wouldn't be able to do = I fail at it, and because i was motivated to do it, i end up getting depressed. This is why i don't bother getting motivated in the first place, and set realistic goals that even a turtle could achieve.

Smaller goals? Fine. Mantra? I guess. Routine? Already have a few. Counter negative thoughts with positive ones? Easier said than done. Even confident people are plagued with doubt. Face fears? I'm doing that one step at a time especially with social interaction.

From watching this video I've realised I can't do a single thing for a long period of time. So I've written myself a list and limited myself to 20 mins of each task, if I do them in short bursts I'm more likely to be motivated to continue it later on in the day.

Ehh. theres just one problem. i dont have any motivation to become motivated by doing any of these things or finding my own way. The only motivation in my life are time limits, due dates and stuff like that but i still leave everything til last minute.

You should rather make a How not to procrastinate video. I'm a perfectionist, and I've been procrastinating for around a month now. My Danish exam starts in two days. Then Bio/Geo/Chem. Then English. God help me. I've doomed myself.

Could you make a video about borderline personality disorder? People I'm close to just keep saying that I'm lying and they think I'm just saying I have BPD to get attention, when though I've clearly been diagnosed by multiple doctors

My motivation always shut up by people around me that said kind of bad things even I thinks what I do is right but I can't strongly hold back what people say. What people say, always in my mind. It makes me weak and emotion burst
reply

Its not that Im not always motivated. its that sometimes I work and then get distracted like 2 moments later and when I finally realise Ive left what I was doing I no longer have the motivation to do it

I find motivation in my desire to dominate my fears and to show my OCD that I am the ruler of my life. It is not easy to have everyday the same fight, but freedom and the spark of happiness are worth it.

This comes handy. most of my exams are virtual right now but the reason why is what gets me. you see it's hard to go to class and be focused when your country is near of a civil war (I'm from Venezuela)

Scre this I get motivated by seeing others liking my videos.
