Our current world has been built for noisy extroverts. Many cities lack places of peace and quiet, the small hidden corners where you can go. We have built too many and too wide roads in cities, and filled the remaining space with bright lights, advertisements, noisy music. And the spaces are often made to be large, not containing many small places of quiet. Even modern libraries are made as large halls instead of being, or having, a bunch of small rooms.
So for roughly the past hundred years or so the built world has not been designed for introverts in mind. Efficiency of logistics and straight through travel has been prioritized over having places where people like to stay and see what comes their way. And those places that have remained smaller scale, beautiful, walkable, and would be friendly to spend time in? They've become tourist attractions filled with people.
I think this is one of the reasons why introverts have such a hard time, and have difficulty understand why, especially in cases where they lack the chance to gain insight from more experienced introverts.

Im an introvert and the best way I can describe it (in a way thats understandable) is that every social interaction I have takes charge from a social battery. For extroverts, your battery capacity is incredibly high, lasting for the entire day before needing to recharge. For introverts, the battery capacity is much lower. We can manage smaller gatherings or maybe 1-2 mates for lower durations, simply because if we have too many interactions in a short timeframe, we will get tired and end up needing to recharge with alone time.
To an extent this can also sometimes explain how some extroverts become introverts as time passes.

- I can form colorful pictures in my head.
- I am great with not interrupting.
- I love hugs.
- I get pretty emotional at times.
- I have great manners, saying Please, Thank you, and Good Morning!
I overheard someone saying that I was so sweet.
- Finally, I doze off in loud and bright areas.
Overall, I am a quiet tiny child that isnt perfect, or even close to perfect. However, I still love people the way they are and I get great reputation from it.

Introvert here: a point you could have talked about is the time introverts spend on the internet. Personally I like doing it because I can easily go from talking to someone online to focusing on whatever I'm doing.

Im an introvert, and my boyfriend is a complete extrovert, he has a busy schedule and has many friends, while i prefer staying at home and hanging out form time to time with my only two friends, just to catch up since i already graduated and they're still studying. He's really patient actually, and understands how draining it is for me to be in crowded spaces or talking to a lot of strangers, we both met through our common love for music, we'll turn nine months soon

Popycock! Whatever that means. I am an introvert. I always thought that my honesty and sincerity would get me to a good place. At 62 I am hopelessly alone and sometimes bitter. I still respect people and blame my place in life on myself! I am just trying to get by until my time comes when I can rest in peace and not feel so unhappy. There is no justice, there is just us!

that's right introvert takes mare time to make friends u know what it literally took me 9 years to make bestfriends. the best part now is that i can share whatever i want with the two of them they know me better than my own mother and father. i actually dont love my parents (basically hate their presence) but they think that they know me. well that's funny

The most controversial thought I keep having in my head is that I wont be able to talk and keep a conversation going with someone that Im interested with. Because that person is someone that might not have the same interests as me, and Ill probably not talk about goofy stuff like they do. and I want to talk to people so badly! Its a cycle

To be honest, being an introvert kinda sucks at times. Like yeah life is nice in peaceful silence but my love life is shit do to how I've been treated for my more rare traits early on in life and only share those later on in a relationship.

As an introvert, yes I am a deep thinker. Everytime when I'm in deep thinking a dude in my class would always be looking at me, possibly thinking that I'm daydreaming but I don't care he doesn't know me well.

I am extremely introverted & reclusive. I don't enjoy being with anyone else. I prefer to be alone all of the time because people are nasty, disingenuous, rude etc. I'm 50. No Serial Killer.
