Just want to say to my brother, who recently got diagnosed with depression, but is still having episodes of trying to hide away the pain. I don't know if you'll ever watch this, but just know that I'm here through every step of the way with you. It's going to be tough, not every single day will be easy, or even good, but we're here to live through each day to make the most out of them. If you ever need any sort of catch up, or just time together, you know where I am. You managed to help me a lot with dealing with my struggle against loneliness for years, and I'll be there to help get you by with anything. Just remember that it'll get better in the long run bro.

My parents are always complaining at everything even though its going to be taken care of will be arranged or clean and still complains at everything and when my parent complain, the other parent backs him/her up to defend what they are saying to me, which is ridicoulous, and they are making me sick and angry inside and I dont want to cry cause its embarissing, and im letting my anger control my sadness so I will not cry.

3. I've changed a lot and I put aside my emotions for my friends
4. i burst for no reasons
5. i can act happy but be soooo sad inside
6. i never talk to my friends anymore

It is not any of our business of someone is hiding their pain. They are hiding their pain for a reason. Be respectful! Give those that want isolation their isolation. Give those that want nobody to notice their emotional state their unacknowledgement. No matter if it is a stranger, a casual contact, a, friend, a dear friend, a, family member, or a coworker, when one tries to hide their feelings, it is no of our business as to why that person is doing so. Give others their space when they need it and want it.

My friend has suddenly told me that he was not my friend at all and lash out on me from out of blue
I did sense that something's wrong going on his life and just wanted to help but he said that he didn't need me or my help and I was just thinking how to cope up with him as I was also hurt by his words and then I found your video.

I was afraid of showing my emotions to other people, even the ones I trust most, because I was always the therapist friend. Im always the one who everyone vents to, I constantly check on people, and Im mostly quiet. When someone would say its okay for me to vent to them, they always do it first. Afterward I ask to vent again, and they just forget. Walk away. Say no. I could never do that, but I could never, ever tell them that. If I do then Id have no one.

I've had a lot of emotional abuse and neglect in my life, so I can relate to all of these, whether it be overworking myself or drowning myself in video games because I don't feel I can open up. I've been working at a job where I feel my work is abused for three years now because I have been stuck in a neverending cycle of hardships. I try not to say too much in my comments, but I can relate to all of these.

I'm always trying to survive hiding my pain from my friends
I think it's childish and unnecessary of me to tell them I'm not doing well, so I try acting all happy and bubbly when someone sparks a conversation, but in the end I already know they can tell somethings wrong and it scares me to death.

I have a friend who hides there pain. People bully him and he just moves on seeing them as a normal person and not a bully. I ask him if hes ok after he gets bullied, he said hes fine when hes clearly not. It hurts me.
