Love that you included a Suikoden game on this list.
That series needs more attention.
I've unfortunatly only played the 5th game. I bought it one day I skipped school in high school, spontaniously) bought it and didn't regret it at all.
Best skip day: P
I played the game 10 times in a row, and then one more time before getting a ps3.
And once more a few years later.
Wish I could buy it on ps4 or ps5, plus the others in the main story. 1-5.
4-5-1-2-3 is the timeline.
A few of the characters show up in all the games, and a few of them have such an interesting story to them.
Like Eresh, Jeane, Viki, Lorelai, Zwei, Killey, Zerase, Leknaat(non playable, an more.

Micah gets too much hate tbh. He's essentially the low honor route. I'd honestly love to play as Micah. The idea of playing as a proper Live by the sword, die by the sword type is really interesting. Watching Micah honestly made me wish I could play a him over Arthur, because Arthur doesn't feel like a good bad guy like Micah does. I preferred playing low honor the whole game, but it just felt wrong for Arthur.

Additionally, since you went kinda old school and similarly to Luca Blight from Suikoden II.
Captain Rasso from Breath of Fire IV. You could feel Ryu's rage when Rasso massacred the entire village of Chek. Even Ursula was appalled by his actions.
And seeing him get vaporized by the Kaiser Dragon was all the more satisfying.

I think Prof. Mark Jefferson from Life is Strange was pretty hateful. When you meet him, he s a complete narcissistic, slimy, pretentious prick that only gets WORSE as the story progresses. By the end of the game and it s Before the Storm prequel, just the thought of him makes you want to take a shower.

Tenpenny should be on the list. Micah is a typical antagonist from a Wild West setting. Another one you missed was Gary Smith from Bully.
Edit: LA Noire is one of my favorite games and you have no idea how I hate Roy Earle and the fact that there s no mission or just an Easter egg just to off him.

Malos from XC2
I love the dude but god is he a complete jerk. From ideologically just being twisted to actively making everyone who fights him suffer (including erasing Pyrras happy memories calling them trash. He has a couple bro moments with Jin but it's so, so satisfying to beat him late game.

Surprised but super glad to see Ted Faro at the top of this list - Ted is one of the most despicable characters I ve ever known in a video game, and both Horizon games do a fantastic job in showing all the absolutely horrific things he did through audio/video logs without ever technically meeting him.

Kamoshida also drove one of his female students to attempt suicide as a result of the abuse. Ted Farro and that twist in Horizon Zero Dawn remains one of my favorites to this day. That Oh shit as he kills the rest of the project leadership and basically damns humanity was amazing.

The Duck Hunk dog is my #1. These civilians did horrible things in fictional world. Its going to be hard to top a character that literally teases the player in such an obnoxious way over and over and over. That dog was so bad people modded the game to be able to shoot him.

I agree wholeheartedly that the villains of P5 were really underwhelming after Kamoshida, like even the politician was a slightly better person than Kamoshida because at least he believed what he would do would be best for his nation. He was still a jackass though.

Even Earl Howel s son hated him. If you recruit the son in DA: A and talk to him (I think you gotta be noble) he explains how his life was as he grew up.
I kinda hoped to see Chef Irons from Resident Evil bc oh man that dude is horrible human being.

I really hate Astrid from Skyrim lol I'm a huge Dark Brotherhood fan, and her betrayal of the entire family was deep and the revenge was oh so sweet! (also Nazeem or Lydia should get a mention in the next video as those 2 are the most hated in Skyrim)

Glad to see my boy Luca Blight out here, probably one of the most evil and hateable characters out there.
That made it all the more satisfying when you finally beat him after fighting him with 18) characters and then a duel on top!
Just insane.
