That Elden Ring story needs a little clearing up. #1, you can ONLY get invaded if you're already in co op with someone else or if you use Taunter's Tongue, and #2, an invader can't cross a boss fog wall nor attack regular enemies, let alone bosses. The exception to this is a few field bosses like Tree Sentinel or dragons. There is a glitch that let's an invader invade while the host is actively fighting a boss, but they can't just go activate any random boss in the game. If this happens to you, you're being screwed with by a hacker not a regular invader.

I agree with the thoughts expressed here about Palworld, Nintendo is just being entitled little baby kids. and yeah there is a few games that has that same game mechanics. Besides that Palworld just seemed like it was for older pokemon player who was just bored of the Nintendo one. (I'd rather play Palworld now) Some people i know even went back to pokemon after playing palworld because the wanted to remember the kid times play said game in fact the ones i know didnt even own any of the pokemon games on switch, last ones they had bought was on the ds.

At the beginning of the video you talk about rules being in place to prevent things like monopolies, because they're bad. Then later you talk about how Steam is so great and it being the place where everyone has to go to get their games. Personally I hate launchers in general, I want the game direct on my PC, I don't get the love for Steam. But if you can support the game creator you like, why wouldn't you want them to get more money if there's no difference in cost to you Maybe Epic has a worse refund policy or something.

You know tbh I really don't think we've been too harsh on Star Wars Outlaws at all, if anything, we've been too nice. How have we had such advancement in AI the past few years, yet the AI in these supposedly Triple A video games are always as dumb as a box of rocks Forget the protagonist's appearance, the enemies in Outlaws can't shoot or aim worth a shit. This is why FEAR First Encounter Assault Recon still gets brought up to this day because it really felt like you were fighting a force dared to be reckoned with.

The part with the microtransactions. Yeah giving ratings on video games are basicly useless these days. Parents give their 5 year old kids games like Cyberpunk and GTA. Because the parent mindset is Video game=for kids. No one enforces the ratings. If people actuly played attention to it, a lot, and I mean A LOT of the problems we have in gaming wouldn't be a thing. Or at the very least it wouldn't be no where near as bad as it is now

I remember reading an article saying how 73% of adults in Australia gamble and they have the highest rate of gambling addiction in the world. I’ve only been once and they call bars hotels for some reason and I didn’t find any that didn’t have a slot machine in it - they call it a pokie anyway l if these stats are true, probably good they are restricting loot boxes but perhaps it is to persevere their gambling sector

The protagonist looking weird is not the reason why outlaws was bad. The game isnt fun, it forces you into the stereotypical good protagonist storyline(boring af, combat sucked, dialogue was AI levels of bad, and the perfromance was shif becausr they forced RT on at all quality levels, the game design was the issue. Nearly every level of the game had terrible issues that shouldve kept it in the oven to bake longer.

Nintendo is a shitty, shady ass company who probably helped Unit 731 with their experiments. They're petty and act like little children when they don't get their way. I don't understand why so many people love them so much when they don't even believe imitation is the highest form of flattery and go after regular people making FREE fan art (essentially) of their IP. F Nintendo.

What Nintendo's intention with the Palworld litigation is to stifle competition. For years Nintendo has been the sole owner of an IP that sells immensely regardless of quality (particularly in recent memory. It's the strength of the Pokemon IP and the idea that another Pokemon-like title being available on other platforms is something Nintendo is not willing to cope with.

As a purely console gamer for all my life i do not understand the whole epic vs steam thing. Why does it matter If you have a gaming pc, can you not install both apps or log into both web pages or whatever they are It’s not like you need to buy a second pc if something is on epic, is it I just wouldn’t care if i was a pc guy

The kids spend tons of money, the parents dont have. Oehm, thats a bit of a stretch. I dunno how you US parents handle your kids. Europ kids generally DONT have access to their parents bank-account and/or creditcard. PERIOD. xd. Thankgod so, my 6 year old girl otherwise would rob me poor with roblox-buys only.

Yeah I'm about ready to see the end of copyright and patent. It all has its roots in Kings and Queens, sloppily plastered over by capitalists and socialists to prevent competition and self sufficiency.
I love Nintendo for their affordable game philosophy, but they have a track record of ip tackiness.

i hope falcon does not develop something that gets ripped off by some other group and gets bashed by a game reviewer criticizing how scummy you are by taking legal action. the palworld devs knew what they did. all the world knew what they did, and yet nintendo is wrong by suing for their infringed IP

Well Belarusians aint wrong, Niantic founder worked for US Foreign Service, Ingress as well as Pokemon GO uses geolocation and camera so. I guess USA would be bothered also if people wandered into Cheyenne mountain, Edwards AFB or Area 51 with their phones at the ready.

Mr. Falcon you've become my 90's morning cartoons before work and I love it. With your narrations I feel a kinship both with loving, loathing, and well sometimes just being an old man about video games and complain where it's needed. Keep on keeping on!
reply

Honestly with the loot boxes, I believe they should throw on an adults only label on them. Maybe that will stop the damn trend of companies adding the crap for a quick buck. I'm sure the way they're doing it will help, some, but not enough.

Can players optionally choose to be a useless frog in Deadlock for the lulz Because that sounds like more fun to people who want a challenge like, How long can you survive as a frog Could even be a set of Steam achievements for it too.
reply

Damn. I sincerely hope the likeness of said protagonist in Star Wars Outlaws isn't modeled after an actual actor because the weird/ugly complaints might find yet another person deeply depressed by a related role. That's messed up.
reply

I would have imagined Walz would have been modded into some horse game. Maybe mod him into bully along with a tampon machine.
Or a Dynasty Warriors game where he is a consort to the Chinese empire.

reply

At least we didnt get get some political pandoring where waltz, or vance were fake playing video games in a way to entice young voters. No hey there fellow kids or pokemon go to the poles BS.
