LOL - People are gonna be so triggered if this game will run at 30fps only. - But that's the thing, I would bet a lot on it having multiple modes, cause this is a huge title and people are going to want different things, thus options are necessary. - That's not saying that Rockstar cares about like quality-of-life or accessibility and all that, being customer/user-friendliness, because their products have been notoriously ass on a technical level, whether you like it or not. - But still, I feel like they will at LEAST have an option to run at like 45-60 or whatever, just turning some of the fidelity down that might not be all that necessary. - I also don't know if they've implemented ray-tracing and such, I guesss. they kinda have to as to not look behind. And if not, because of the game or engine in general being demanding, perhaps they might add it later or just for PC. Who knows, but of course that would make a difference in terms of what is possible. But even ray-tracing can be scaled so. - But we're going to see a LOT of arguing over this regardless, visuals and performance and so on and so forth.

I think there are comics of Kratos going to Egypt after the whole deal with the Greek pantheon. Before going to the northlands and meeting Faye and the events of GoW 2018 and Ragnarok. Maybe this new game (if it exists at all) is gonna be a prequel to the two latest games in the series I personally wanna see Kratos instantly after dealing with the Greek pantheon and before meeting Faye and becoming a calmer character that we got to know in the new games. Like a Kratos who has just started dealing with his actions in Greece without the kinda of guidance that Faye offered him. A more in-depth look into what he went through just after his actions in Greece. They can also explore the meeting and the start of the relationship between Kratos and Faye, because IIRC, they met in Egypt and then went to the northlands together.
In any case, I don't think they should follow Kratos after the Ragnarok. I think that storyline kinda ended.

I think it's silly that microsoft is really just tossing exclusive titles out left n right with competing companies like Sony. Microsoft's lack of competition has really hurt the gaming industry in my opinion. Ever since they really stopped putting in effort to compete and make great memorable games to contend with Sony, not only do we get the same identical games, but games don't grow anymore like before. Sony's still producing numbers of course with their single player titles, but they're also preying on consumer practice because a lack of competition. The only thing we have on the xbox ecosystem is gamepass. Gamepass is good, but it isn't a game, its just a service. Microsoft provides us with good services, while Sony/nintendo provides us with okay to good games and horrible services. THATS just my take, maybe thats my boomer talking. Sorry for the rant. Let me know if you agree or disagree

I think, minus some buffing for the trailer, it's pretty safe to say the game will look like that. It might have some rougher edges and whatnot, just not looking as slick and smooth with all the processing they've probably used for the trailer, but you shouldn't look at GTA V, which is kinda irrelevant BECAUSE it's quite old, but rather look at RDR2, because that looks a lot closer and it's already from like 7 years ago. The difference is that RDR2 is a lot more empty, obviously in its setting, making it able for them to increase the fidelity while also being able to run it back then. But now they will have to render a LOT more, but the hardware is probably much more up to doing so. - So I'd say it will look like RDR2 and then some, while paying for performance at the same time, as usual.

As for The Sims: They've done zero updates, apparently, so it will just default to low resolutions and probably no options for high ones, let alone widescreen-support and such. - Also, not only do you need to log into an EA-account (although I also read you don't have to somewhere, they've implemented Denuvo. - This is such bs. These should be on GOG DRM-free by now, at least on Steam without any nonsense in it. - But no, EA couldn't help themselves. - I would've been glad to throw them some money, as I played them illegally back in the day, a LOT, so it would only be fair even though it goes towards a corpo-company. But not in this state. Just, no. Especially not at this price. - They will probably cost next to nothing soon enough, but still, they need to cut the crap.

GTA 6 will be this and GTA 6 will be that. It's annoying at this point for me to keep hearing from game journalism or gamers. In terms of graphic upgrade we should understand GTA 6 will look similar to Red Redemption 2. We'll just have to wait and see the final product when it comes out.
I personally just care that they tell a good enough story and better game play mechanic since GTA 5 for better or for worst. I'm always cautions with this trending FOMO gaming news from these major gaming franchises, game developers or publishers. That's just me. EXPECTATION VS REALITY PEOPLE. Lol.

Why are we playing dumb to the obvious ploy rockstar use.
GTA 6 launch at 30 then sell pc version a year later and then release the 60fps for the next xbox and ps6 as an incentive to buy the next gen edition
It is lazy and I hate rockstar for never providing choice, they lock it to 30 fps to push graphics over fluidity and gameplay because they are afraid if they offered a 1080p with uspacle option at 60fps it would not meet expectations of their audience for pushing graphical and game boundaries

Bruh GTA6 could look like RDR2 and i'd be cool with that. okay a little more polished but pretty much. Devs thinking modders are their enemy are dumb. We're going to look back on when devs attacked modders and with hindsight bias, we're going to say, Wow those devs were really dumb! Obviously the marriage between the two is the most obvious way to go. Also, the fact EA rereleased the SAME Sims 1 and 2 when they are pretty much legally free is very EA of them.

1: 49 yeah why would we expect it to run on par with just general expectations nowadays It’s gonna run like crap because they don’t wanna optimize it right even though they are one of the biggest publishers in the entire world and this game will be more expensive than any other game. An action game running at 30 frames is completely unacceptable nowadays. Maybe an RPG can get away with 30 frames, but not an action game

If gta 6 is 30fps i feel like that's because they put that much extra into the rest of the game. I've never not played a jaw droppingly impressive gta game since 3 imo. They're always so detailed and fps isn't what instantly comes to mind. They're lames for dragging gta online but people forget the last game they gave us was rd2. I can't help have faith in Rockstar.

From my knowledge, GTA games as well as RDR games are known to have an in-game cutscene rather than the traditional cinematic cutscene so I'm confident the game (in the state the trailer was in) showed what the graphics is like. I could be wrong as most things we see are subject to change but yeah! I'm happy with how it looked and look forward to see the end result

Hot take: GTAVI is never going to happen, all of the leaked gameplay and photos are just over skinned and over rendered clips of GTAV. Rockstar is trolling. It’s not gonna be called GTAVI but a completely different title and timeline of the game. It’s rockstars first flop in company history.
Plus, the human graphics look like trash for it taking this long

Ancient Egypt already makes a lot of sense. This would tie in perfectly the old and new games. Show him fleeing the Greek world and how he made it to the Norse realms, see how he met Laufey. I also remember hearing that they had already developed a lot of stuff for that mythology already but changed direction to Norse at some point.

NOPE on Trevor, Ogg went out of his way to talk down Trevor and how it hurt his career. I've seen his other work. its trash. He just wants to be relevant again. I say leave it. Better yet, do it where he DOESNT get paid(just use the game likeness, no voice. I would champion that idea.

Gta 5 was on the ps3/xbox360 at 30fps and was still a beautiful game and that game went on for years and then had better editions on the following consoles with a higher fps so no doubt gta 6 will be rocking 30fps till the next console that is powerful enough to hit the 60

Ragnarok perfectly wraps up Kratos' entire journey (including the Greek saga) and story-wise he got the rest he deserved. There would have to be a VERY compelling reason to bring him back again, otherwise I'd be perfectly happy if they just left things as they were for him.

Even if GTA VI sets at 30fps to begin with, that gives rockstar time to improve the game further. People need to realise that the trailer we've seen so far there's no gameplay seen yet, and people just need to chill and trust that Rockstar will finish an amazing game as ever.

A lot of Greek mythology ended up becoming incorporated into the newer Egyptian mythology, so Egypt God of War could be Kratos tying up loose ends. It’ll be a return to form, mindlessly cutting through an entire pantheon, without all the character study and whatever.

Forza Horizon 5 on PS5! Like are you effing kidding me That's the reason why I bought an Xbox and not a PS5! It's a reason people choose the console! It's time to make the switch to Playstation it seems like. Microsoft has been mistreating us on Xbox anyways.
