If Chris is the undisputed Test Kitchen super-taster, then Gaby is easily the jelly bean super-taster. Seriously, how did she guess Dr. Pepper? Impossible Anyway, join pastry chef (and can we call her The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon co-host) Claire Saffitz in the Bon Apptit Test Kitchen as she attempts to make gourmet Jelly Belly jelly beans. This episode is 48 minutes long, so grab a stress ball and tuck in. Mary: Thank you Claire for your try, try again attitude You have inspired my cooking and your calmness during those trying times gives me the determination to go on with whatever I am doing in the kitchen. Your support friends are amazing BTW is the engagement ring new? If so Mazel Tov

I'm currently wondering. when did Gourmet Make turn into replicate? I was thinking about that when Claire said at around 42: 02 that she said about Jelly Beans that she wished it had less flavour and was a lot softer. so basically, she made a (at least by her preferences) BETTER version of Jelly Beans and somehow that is counted as a failure. Shouldn't that be what this show is all about?

I just realised. Claire is the overachieving youngest child whos greatest fear is failure, Delany is the sweet eldest brother that really cares and is mature, Brad is the brother whos like only a year older than Claire and riles her up all the time but is also her best friend.

Im kinda tired of seeing Claire suffer. Like it was funny at first but now it seems like she's really miserable and doesn't like her job. I bake and make candy as well so I understand her frustrations but I just wish we saw her happy more: (

Oh how long I've been waiting for this But tbh I'm always kinda sad when they use Gelatin in the Gourmet Version although there is none in the original. to me it's one of the great qualities about Jelly Bellies that they don't use it.

This show was a great example of the old adage Two heads are better than one. It's obvious Claire is more of a team player than independent worker. Maybe you should consider having guest chefs on Gourmet Makes.

Was Claire not allowed to buy a jelly bean mold? Is it required that she makes things harder than they have to be in this series. Her poor nerves and to add insult to injury. who is going to make this?

watching gourmet makes as an european is so educational. after oreos I haven't recognized one single candy but if i should ever move to the USA I feel so prepared.

Look I know it's a lot of film but these episodes are getting way too long. They used to be quick to watch but now you have to actually dedicate time to watch it.

Im looking through the comments and no ones talking about the insane amount of Ben and Jerrys in the freezer. I mean thats what I want my freezer to look like.
