What you're using there is Spanish chorizo, which is significantly different than Mexican chorizo, the latter being a fresh, raw, unsmoked sausage with the main flavourings being ancho chile, cumin and Mexican oregano (generally. The only thing the two have in common is that they're made of pork, honestly. I'm sure this was delicious regardless, but if you're making a Mexican recipe, you gotta make sure you're getting the right kind of chorizo.

I made this today and it is absolutely amazing! Great tasty mixture of spices, meat, some veggies and finally the sour of the lemon! Also I could do it quite quickly so this is a real recommendation: D
