Made this! Very flavoursome. Verryy rich. Especially with cheesy mashed potatoes. So make sure to eat when you are good and hungry! Although the flavour profile I was looking for was the lighter type of chicken gravy, like you used to get at school dinners back in England once upon a time (might try Jamie's lemon wt potatoes one next time, this was still very good. I especially liked the honeyed cumin carrots, which surprised me to no end as I actually am one of those adults who abhor eating their veg since childhood! Well done, Kerryann! And thanks!

Aw how sweet and thoughtful of you. I didn't have to quit Jamie's kitchen, I graduated and started my journey in another kitchen. I still stayed in touch with Jamie and everyone at Fifteen, and still until this day, go there regularly and get involved in lots of stuff with each set of new apprentices. I worked in Sainsbury's for a bit of extra cash in the run up to Christmas that's all! Thank you for watching my videos, and for taking the time to write me such a lovely message. :-)

d'ya know what, I'm a vegetarian and I watched this video simply because when I was growing up, I watched Jamies kitchen on TV and saw Kerryann on that program. I just want to say it really is fantastic to see how far Kerryann has come since that initial TV program, good on you. also makes me wish I'd stuck it out and actually gone to a culinary school for some strange reason!

Thanks for taking the time to read the comment =] if worried about getting the skin soggy then let rest on a carving board, I've never come across problems with soggy skin by doing this and always end up with chicken meat that's twice as juicy. Please give it a try next time for me!

Great working recipes with clever lovely details! Especially you do wash your hands when needed! That's what I find unrealistic in other cooking demonstrations because the chefs don't seem ever need to wash their hands even after getting all oily, fishy, beefy or chickeny.

I just tried this recipe for Easter dinner tonight and my friends came over to dine, and the roasted chicken turned out PERFECT! I incorporated Jamie's xmas baked potatoes to have on the side, and we're all recovering from epic food coma. Thank you for the video!

4-6 minutes is the average time for a youtube video as most people start skipping around and losing interest if it's over that time. Putting the video into two parts means people are more likely to watch it all the way through. :)

I made this today and oh boy the gravy is heavenly! It actually turned out a little salty for my taste so I added a lil bit of milk, which made the gravy even creamier! Thank you and I love the mash recipe too
