Why do everyone hate eating garlic, I wonder? Im not saying about the taste and smell, I mean the garlic cloves. I always love eating the whole garlic cloves, especially eating it raw with some salad. It taste awesome and kills bacteria in your colon. When you took out the garlic in the video, I was thinking, what a waste. ): but its a good recipe!

Good recipe. However to make this really good just a few points if u r making this for adults Add stock 250ml instead of 500ml plain water. 8 leaves of fresh basil after 30 mins of cooking, and 1 tspoon of oregano. Add salt and pepper. Also use 3 cloves of garlic and chop it that way u dont need to remove. Also 1 teaspoon of brown sugar also helps too

Just made this now I hate beetroot and have been trying to find a way to incorporate it into my diet and this dish is awesome. My 4 year old found the pink pasta courtesy of the beetroot loads of fun. I did not tell her about the beetroot as she would not have touched this dish. You girls need to get a spot on prime time telly your great

This looks lovely! I just don't get that you put 500 grams of meat in the dish (which is enough for 5 people) and so little vegetables! Assuming a person needs to consume at least 200 grams of veggies a day. Why not less meat and more veggies? It's for kids right?

Can you feed babies with meat in that age and i am sure that u should not have browned the meat because that way it looses every nutrient you should have boiled it and serve it very smooth and soft because this can be very harsh for her digestive system

I like the idea of roasting the vegetables, never thought about it. Also as an open minded Italian, I find the beatroot idea interesting. The taste profile definitelly fits. Although I would put a lot more vegetables in it, especially celery.

I'd use vegetable stock instead of just water for extra flavour and nutrients, and why not add that wonderful looking basil you have in the background to through the blender too? Even more goodness to feed them.

Looks good with a beetroot. will try adding beetroot next time. But how does this recipe just take 5 minutes? If the veggies need 50 minutes to roast and the sauce needs 45 minutes to simmer?

I also added the blended roast veg at the same time I added the tomatoes to the browned meat so they all cooked down together over the 60 minutes so flavour of beetroot wasn't intense

This is misleading - I assumed that the recipe would contain baby, not be for a baby. I'm not impressed with the untruths running rampant throughout society. Sort it out Jamie.
