Forget the beef burger, this time it s all about the tuna burger and DJ BBQ has an Asian inspired recipe that s simply divine! Generous patties made from sustainable tuna, glazed with a sweet soy sauce and served with a crisp cucumber pickle heaped on to toasted buns

There is something I'd really like to see your twist on DJ BBQ. It's a simple thing: It is a burger with pitabread instead of normal hamburger bread, and you have humus and tons of fresh vegetables. Paprikas, sallad, etc. Now for the burger itself and this is what makes it stand out. So get your minced meat of your choice. Chop up some fresh chilis, salt, pepper, cummin and now for the not-so-secret ingridient. Feta cheese that you crumble to smaller pieces using your hands. Mix it all together and put it on the grill/pan. I really recommend anyone to try this. PS: Make sure to have TONS of garlic in that Humus.

Excellent looking burger, big old chunk off tuna, bet that cost a few bob, where's the best places to shop to get the quality and price. Wouldn't mind seeing some Mediterranean influenced food, love Chorizo, North African flavours, might be easier to do a trip around the world so we don't miss anything, bring everyone together and have a giant food party.

That looked so good! I need to invest in an indoor grill! Now, is it possible to make another adaptation to these burgers using tuna from a can? That may sound weird but I can't afford the delicious fresh tuna yet. Oh! And when he said to put the oil on the patties and not the pan, I was like oh yea! I learned that from! Great recipie!

I thought you'd lost the plot when you put a 600g tuna steak in a blender, the end result looked brilliant. I know what I'm making on Friday now thank you! Maybe some exciting ways to chicken/turkey mince on the future please? Always looking for ways to keep my healthy eating being interesting, thanks.

Really very good! I've done and it was a delight! Very easy to make, tasty super, but I like more spice, so I put in my two version chilli types and the dreaded habanero, I can say it was to another level. Mr. DJ BBQ want to try my most spicy version?

They look awesome as well, I'm putting weight on just watching your videos. I would really like you to give us some food combinations that we wouldn't normally try. The Aussies have bacon wrapped bananas on their bbqs which are awesome.

i made jamie's burger out of his new cook book the other day. it was really good but the problem is we don't have any nice burger buns around here. our normal bakeries don't have them and the supermarket ones suck. :(

Bad idea to watch this at midnight. So hungry now! What kinda soy sauce was used by the way? It is not listed on the recipe site (guess they left out that step, and i've never seen such a thick soy sauce.

That looks delicious DJ! I made tuna burgers one time for my kids they loved it. (Used sustainable tuna) I just went salt and pepper and ground corn flakes as a binder. It gave it a nice sweet taste.
