I finally made this today! I get 16 gim-bugaks from the same amount rice paste. As I don't have dehydrator every piece got sun-dried. It's so good that I don't need to even care about storing I'll eat them up! Thanks for your recipe Maangchi!
The only tip for those who try this recipe: If you like gim, the seaweed, then about a dozen of bugaks will never be enough for you. (I'm regretting making just 16 bugaks) Try double amount of all ingredients.

I love, love, love gim! I can go through a box of 24 snack paks in 2 weeks. I want to make this so badly but I packed up my dehydrator getting ready to move! Soon though! Lol! I'm moving to North Carolina and this would be perfect to carry while hiking and foraging in the woods!

Do you have to dry the seaweed in the dehydrator? I really want to make this recipe but I don't think I have the patience to dry it in the dehydrator or on the kitchen counter. Can I just put on the paste then fry it?

Can this be made and kept in ziploc for future frying or does it have to all be fried at once? Do we store them in the fridge or pantry?
