The soft & gooey cheese and the crispy and chewy rice cakes in these skewers are irresistible! gypsygirl731: Maangchi my son dating Korean women and he needs to impress in cooking for them. Is there a recipes or him to make that arent detailed to much for a luncheon or dinner. He likes Korean bbq I sent him your recipe video he likes kimchi but Ill make it as to him its to much time. He doesnt eat to many carbs. Something that is different. He lives in nyc and the women he dates is usually in finance marketing big jobs thats leaves them no time to cook either. Japchae is what I like. It he doesnt want carbs to much. He eats vegetable garlic and fish and chicken. Salads he likes and Korean beef. he loves my soups but to him to details. Especially when I make Tom yum which is Thai. He likes Asians foods not American and of course he wants to impress the Korean lady friend he has. Any ideas? Thank you

Every since COVID, I have been cooking at home a lot more. I am now binge-watching your recipe videos. I love Korean food and I want to become an expert. So of course, I have to learn from Maanchi, you know what I'm saying? :D

Maangchi, another hit! I was thinking about this all nightI decided to make one for brunch today it was delicious maybe not so healthy but delicious! But because it was so sweet I did snack on a little stack of gim afterwards! Lol!

Please show what to do with Kirimochi! I've scoured YouTube and only found 2 different ways to make it. I tried it fried with butter and honey, it was yummy but I have 2 big bags left and no more ideas

maangchi create a non spicy recipe of rice cake. just like the onion & butter yopokki or cheese yopokki but non spicy version.
