carrot ginger sauce - zinger sauce use the carrot ginger sauce (zinger) in this sushi recipe: Vegan roll: Gabby: As the other person mentioned, avoiding pesticides is as simple as buying locally and organically. Vegans are very conscious of what they eat. I and many others, research companies and brands that are completely vegan and against harming animals in any way. Believe me, there's plenty of things to eat as an organic vegan. Veganism is not about immediate eradication of all use of animals, obviously meat eaters make that impossible. Veganism is about making progressive moves to kinder practices.

Bee populations are seriously dwindling because of our overproduction of honey in society. A vegan's goal is to reduce animal suffering as much as possible, so even if an animal does not directly die from a process such as animal testing, does not mean I will partake in it for the shear fact that the animal is at least still alive at the end of it. Vegans are against the use and exploitation of animals, which is why many do not attend circuses, buy certain cosmetics, etc.

That may be true, but the method in which honey is extracted is disturbing to a bees natural environment. No, not every single bee dies but (collectively) many bees do. So that is why vegans abstain from honey. The sauce looks yummy though. Being a vegan newbie, I reckon I'd use some brown rice syrup in lieu of the honey; )

Actually honey can be really expensive, especially the good stuff. Agave nectar, maple syrup, and golden syrup can be cheaply found by local farmers at farmers markets. I buy it in bulk at very low costs, and I don't even live in a super vegan-friendly area. You can even make your own date syrup which costs hardly anything.

Huh? Not if you buy organic produce from your local farms and stay away from large-profit grocery/food lords. My only advice is to control what you can control. Do what you can, when you can.

I love your sauce philosophy. Just keep adjusting till it suits your taste. I also like to keep in mind how flavors change as they sit and blend/mature/develop.

I like your recipe and wonder which blender you were using in this video, like the brand & model # etc. I need to purchase one and yours seems very convenient to use.
