I honestly think adding the sugar helps. Especially for those that dont really know how to pick out juicy, ripe watermelons, or if you think you've picked out a good watermelon but when cutting it up realized that it's not as ripe as you thought. That's when the sugar can come in handy. Or if someone is deciding to use watermelon water as a part of their diet to lose weight, then they can omit the sugar, since watermelons are naturally sweet, but not always, but still some don't want to add the sugar to their watermelon water. I think adding sugar is a personal choice and preference. It's not required. An I don't think you said it was required in your last video for aguas frecas. Maybe I missed it. Lol either way following video instructions don't have to be followed precisely, some like to twist it to their liking, whatever it may be. I've done my aguas frescas both ways with sugar an without. I prefer with sugar. An adding sugar doesn't always have to mean adding what you did in your video, someone could easily adjust it to their liking. Or even substituting with other sweeteners, natural or not. I love your videos an thanks for sharing your way of doing things or the way you prefer to make certain dishes etc.

Wow this looks so delicious! I love to make fresh strawberry, blueberry, peach milks; homemade orange juice, lemon water, etc. I'm not a die-hard watermelon lover, so I hesitated to try out this watermelon water from the grocery store. They had all these flavors, watermelon water infused with blood oranges, lemon, etc. I LOVED the watermelon water + blood orange, and I'm definitely going to try making the watermelone juice at home and adding some twists! Amazing video thank you!

Awesome, again. I like it, I like it! This is something that will DEFINITELY get made at our house. I'm learning to make Mexican food SO WELL, that I don't even buy Mexican rice anymore, because I learned to make it so well from watching these videos, that my Mexican rice tastes as good, or BETTER than what I bought at the Mexican stores. Bottom Line: YOU (and JuaJua) PUTTING THE MEXICAN RESTAURANTS OUT OF BUSINESS (lol.

Growing up in a traditional Mexican family, I never had an agua fresca that wasn t made with additional water and sugar. I never saw anyone make agua fresca by simply blending a watermelon until just recently. I don t think either is wrong or right, to each their own! But, please don t worry about everyone else, you do you! Your aguas look absolutely amazing!

just to thank you. as you make some of the most wonderful vid's. ok i wanted to ask you. how do you feel about using the zest of the lime or lemon. to make the drinks. being that, the zest last a bit longer than the pulp or rind of lime/ lemon. and you dont, or i have yet to get that racid taste later. please let me kno what you think.

I ve only had agua fresca once with cantaloupe, and it was divine. I can t wait to try these this summer, instead of soda. I ll have sparkling water on the side for the folks that need bubbles. I loved the squeeze bottles with the simple syrup, and I LOVE tajin on fruit, so it s a must try. Thanks for the video.

I notice that most videos for aqua fresca they strain it. Why? I think that's the healthiest part. I just commented on the Views and that pina and watermelon are my most fav aqua fresca. I have an Osters blender and it works like a gem. no need to spend hundreds of bucks on a new one.

I don t think you should change your recipe. It s your memory your recipe. If someone doesn t like it they don t have to make it or watch. I like your videos. Don t change your recipes for anyone, they can figure something else out if they don t like a certain step to your recipe.

I make my natural fruit juices Just like this but I do add water & sugar depending how sweet my pineapples & watermelon are, we drink large amounts so I have to add water for it to last lol. I also add little chunks of it into my aguas frescas makes it look nice & fresh.

The people that say not to add water and sugar don't know what they are talking about. Its agua fresca! Agua de sandia is watermelon water WATER! if they don't want to add sugar or water they might as well just eat the damn fruit because if not their just going to drink pulp.
