SO BOMB. Brought it to thanksgiving dinner and everyone loved it. The crust really makes it with the hint of salt. I doubled the heavy cream and confectioners sugar bc I love whipped cream. There was another banana cream pie with regular pie crust but everyone said mine was better --. No one was even stoney bologna, so you know it was truly amazing!

When you add liquid to cornstarch and the compound gets stiff and liquid at the same time you have created a non-newtonian fluid. -The More You Know! --Farideh, I would love to cook with you. I'd avoid the layer of full wafers in the middle. First, unless eaten automatically the wafers will get soggy, and second, it makes it much harder to cut/take a bite out of. It would be a lot better for the middle layer to be more like the crust so that its uniform throughout the entire pie and doesn't affect the cutting/taking bites.

I tried this recipe and it was faaaabulous! My boyfriend ate 1/2 of the pie by himself. -The ingredients on the website in grams are spot on, and I used a 22' springform pan. Oh and I have a lot of whipped cream leftover, but i'll just make less next time. And the next time I make it will be soon. Lol. Thank you!
