I haven't had any luck planting anything else with superbells either! This year I have a pot with supertunia bordeaux and superbells and the superbells have just now started to die. We've also just gotten a lot of rain here in Virginia which they don't seem to like. My question for you is-I have an area that I just turned into a flower bed in my back yard but I didn't do anything to amend the soil other than adding several bags of garden soil and using biotone. Our soil is clay and seems really poor draining, and the garden is also on a slope. A lot of the flowers I planted seem to be suffering from too much water. Any ideas for what I can plant there that loves poor draining wet soil? (It receives about 3 hours of full sun from 11am-2pm. Would really appreciate your help!

Im a newbie trying to figure out what I can and cant plant successfully. Unfortunately, here in Phoenix, AZ I havent had too many successes lately. I try so hard, and most of my plants die. Its just way too hot! When I looked up the beautiful Plum Dandy provenwinners. com it says its a zone 10a - 11b. Youre a zone 5. So does that mean you can plant anything with a lower # than what is listed on the plants hardiness zone? Im not even sure if Im asking that right!

Greetings from New Zealand! I love watching your pots and garden develop over the seasons but can I make a request? A garden the size of yours needs massive amounts of compost and I'm sure we'd all love to see your compost making system. Making compost is not everyone's cup of tea, I understand, but if you do, I'm sure it's beyond amazing and I'd to learn how you tackle recycling your gaden waste. Keep up the great work. Love your videos.

How do you tell when it is earwig damage or slug damage? I have both in my yard, and something made a few small holes in the lower leaves on my Brunnera Jack Frost but I don't know what is doing it for sure. I have read that you can use coffee grounds in the soil to deter them. Does it really work, and can it damage the plants? Your plants are sure looking beautiful as usual!

Although calendula attracts aphids you have used calendula in a salve in a previous video. Would you be able to save and use this calendula plant even though it has had an infestation? Would the aphids need to be cleared out completely or is the plant no longer usable for medicinal uses?

When our youngest was little like Benjamin she was always an early riser, countless times she would do the same as Benjamin, sometimes she'd raise my eyelid as she would ask Are you awake mommy? it's funny now but then, not so much. I have the same issue with super bells.

Im a beginner to outdoor plants and I will only put plants in containers instead of in the ground because black snakes and copperheads are popular in my area and Im terrified of them. Do you normally water all of your container plants or do you just depend on rainfall?

Hey Laura! Would you mind showing off/doing a tree tour? I've heard this is a good time to plant trees as we swing gently into the fall months. You've done a tree video a couple years back and I'm curiously how the lil guys have been doing or well, not doing!
