Shade Fairy Garden w/ DIY Living Moss Roof! Garden Answer Denise: Laura, thank you so much for your love of gardens and simplicity. This is just what I have been trying to get brave enough to try, and your enthusiasm and clear instructions, have inspired me to do it. I have looked at pictures of houses, but one of the questions that can't get answered from just picture was given by you today. Thanks - putting all of the plants in the back 1/2, so the other pieces don't get wet. I am so glad that you have the experience and are sharing it. I too, love those little fairy like flowers. I had a different kind early in the season, but we had 106 - 112 temps. a while back in Arizona, and gone! Can this garden live in the house? Love & Light & Joy, Denise

Sweet and so realistic! Looks like a little Ben fairy, reminds me of his teepee. Ever consider making a fairy garden/tablescape for Benjamin's small matchstick trucks? We had one in our garden as kids. It was a waist high flower bed be due to the lot was cut into a slope. We had so much fun creating it. My brother loved it too. Could replicate using an old thrift store picnic table cut legs down to Benjamin's height, add fine mesh on top to hold dirt but let water drip thru, add wood sides to hold dirt and you go girl. You go to town creatively as you do and we love. you could replicate Cars landscape, anything.

How many times do you water it? Also what do you put for the first layer, before the moss. can everything be half real and half fake, or is it suppose to be all real moss and plants, because I dont get it, if the plants grow your fairy garden will be over crowded, sorry for the questions, I'm new road this, so it's very confusing. if I use a twine basket, do o have to put plastic first so the water doesn't go threw? Are you glueing the real moss and plants on top of the roof? I would think that would kill the moss or plants, Thankyou so much.

I like these videos. I am lucky enough to have a lot of natural elements like that around me, so I can adapt some of your ideas. i made a Christmas wreath last year after watching a video where you made a wreath with juniper branches and a woodland cardinal. I had an owl and a grapevine wreath on hand, and I filled it in with juniper, pine, and holly. I have never been happier with a wreath, and it did not cost me anything to make.
