BIG Changes Coming to the Gazebo! Garden Answer Miranda: You know Ive been thinking about this for a few days and Ive decided that Im actually UPSET at Hartley Botanic for making you pay so much of your own money for the glass greenhouse. Do they even know how valuable 5+ years of free advertising to over 1 million extremely niche-specific targeted viewers is?
Ridiculous that you even have to step out of your comfort zone to get it installed. This is the type of thing that festers in my mind when Im weeding!
I literally would NEVER have heard of their brand if it wasnt for you Laura. And I certainly wouldnt think it was an appropriate investment for a homeowner until you showed us so many examples and your enthusiasm for dreaming big.
I know you have to be grateful as the recipient Laura but I dont have to! They should recognize your loyalty to their brand ever since you couldnt be their customer and realize THEY could be investing in YOU.

I was watching early in the video, saying to myself are they going to take out those pine trees?
I think it would be beautiful to replace them with one magnolia and a couple of dogwoods to anchor the greenhouse (if it doesnt interfere with the sunshine.
With me moving to an apartment almost two years ago, it is awesome to live vicariously through you.
I know you have been talking about that companys greenhouse for a while now. Congrats on the beautiful family, but also the beautiful garden your cultivating like a living art gallery.

I'm so very happy for you both! I have to say I never liked the existing gazebo for all the reasons you mentioned. This change is going to be phenomenal. I do have to say that I think most of your followers and I are invested emotionally in your property so to hear that you plan to stay is the icing on the cake. This year's videos are going to be a blast.
Praying your delivery will be perfect and that you have a quick recovery after. Any minute now I expect a post that you're finally having the baby: )

Oak might be nice. I had an oak and a mesquite. I loved the spread and growth pattern of the mesquite but it dropped branches like cray cray. my oak on the other had. solid with a tighter growth pattern cant tecall the variety but it was good for hot dry climate. messy leaves though. but most are. if oak isnt a choice, just think something with strong branches. like I need to tell you. but trees can be your best friend or your worst nightmare

Hi Laura so excited for you! No worries I'll be doing the jumping up and down for you! I'm just wondering how will your town take the gazebo? In the Philippines we have what we call Bayanihan where all your neighbors help you literally lift your house and move it to a new location. Also what will happen to your water feature behind the gazebo? Are you keeping it in the same location or moving it?

YES! What a fabulous idea, and so generous of you to donate the gazebo to the City! It will help that space so very much, it certainly needs help. Get Greg Whittstock to gather his Aquascape team to put in some pondless waterfalls around it.
And, the greenhouse is going to look fabulous! I cant wait to see the videos.

Laura, this is so cool! I'd love to have a Hartley Botanic Victorian greenhouse! My husband is an engineer & designing a greenhouse to build for me this spring. It won't be super fancy, but I'm really excited to get one. It's small- about 10x16. I can't wait to see your greenhouse and what landscaping you do. :)

My guess was a greenhouse too! What great idea to replace the handsome present gazebo with an English greenhouse, which will certainly will fit in better to your present landscape. That is sooo good you will be able to have it moved so your community will enjoy it, and not destroy the structure.

If anyone deserves a beautiful glass green house it is you and Aaron. Can just imagine all the family times you will share there and the new ideas that we can also enjoy. Donating the Gazebo to the city is a great idea! So happy for you Laura enjoy every minute of the process!

Good morning. I REALLY think the greenhouse you love would be nice where the gazebo is. I am absolutely sure the company who make those greenhouses might do it for free to advertise the greenhouse. Yeah, let the gazebo go, great idea. Wendy (North Wales, UK)
