Planting A Haywire Cypress & Skinny Fit Gingko!
video description
You have given us lots of inspiration to get our land developed. Aaron, thanks for your insite about putting in the infrastructure first (the big picture) then work on the planting and other hardscapes. We enjoy your enthusiasm and excitement in all you do. We're excited to see each project as they mature.
Thanks again for your wonderful videos.

Hello from the other side of the Atlantic! Really enjoy your videoseven if Im just armchair gardening on a dull afternoon! looking forward to seeing the progress of the Ginkgoas my garden is very small, I managed to find a dwarf Troll one which will grow in a pot and am eagerly awaiting its Autumn glory but wondered if that narrow one you planted would be suitable for a smaller space? Your excitement at some rain did make me gigglewe get so much here in Dublin, Ireland. Did you know that the word for that wonderful damp earthy smell you get when it rains after a long dry spell is Petrichor? I hope you enjoyed the petrichor during the week!

Everything looks great Laura! I would love to find that kind of ginkgo here but the ones they bring are getting huge!
The mulch only steals nitrogen if you mix it in the soil. Not when you lay it on top. Never had a problem with that. You will see a lot of mushrooms tho next year when it start decomposing. Especially sting horn mushrooms but I dont mind them because they help decompose the mulch and help plants absorb the nutrients they need. Also they are so interesting. Ive got plenty

You'll be sorry you planted the Ginko. I hope you planted it FAR away from your house. The berries literally smell like dog shit. And, you track the berry juice and smell into the house on your shoes. Don't let them misled you. Male trees produce berries because the make female limbs. Worst tree EVER. Mine is over 50 years old. The entire tree drops it's leaves on the same day. It's beautiful to come up to a gold yard, but then you have to step on berries while you rake. WORST tree ever!

Sorry dog paw got in the way and sent it too soon lol. And I use older shavings for a bit of my garden mulch so it doesn't bother the flowers and chicken coop gets a few loads, the chicken & ducks love scratching for bugs keeps them busy. Our hoop barn gets the majority to add with the bedded pack for the cows. Best part is the price $0, it really helps significantly! Being in the North a lot of the shavings have pine and cedar in it, smells so good!

Hi Laura and Aaron! The Haywire False Cypress are so pretty and unusual at that size. I would want them to keep that shape and wild look. LOL! The Ginkgo will be interesting at only 15 wide. It would be good to tuck in a small garden, too, as a backdrop, as long as the root system wouldn't do damage to foundations, or pipes. Thank you so much for sharing!

The progress you have made on the new property is simply astounding! Can you please do an update video that shows the progress from when you first started the infrastructure to now? With some drone footage to really see the transformation, Aaron? The more the grass fills in the more dramatic the changes seem. So exciting!

Does anyone know where I can find a Skinny Fit bingo for sale? I have tried everything I can think of and have failed to locate a nursery who carries it. They are wholesaled by Spring Meadows wholesale nursery and are authorized for sale only by Proven Winners, but none of the wholesale nurseries on their website carry it.

Thank you for being such a great inspiration to us all. Could you do a video on batteries and chargers and the best way to store these expensive things over the winter or when not in use. I feel like I'm destroying batteries too often by not depleting them enough. Tips and tricks would be helpful
