In this episode we're kayak fishing around Chester's Rock, a calico bass haven where we stumble upon a shipwreck lodged way up on the rocks. We continue slaying the bass, and then, back at the lodge, we have resident chef LuLu cook 'em up for us in a delicious dish she calls Calico Veracruz

Rob here is your Spanish pointer for this vid. Before you eat, say PROVECHO! There you go brother! That fishing and what Lulu made looked amazing! Your host Jeff and your Fish Village crew are world class awesome people. You should feel blessed! God Bless and tight lines!

THE PLAN>>>
spend a bunch of money to fish Cedros Island.
We will catch Calico bass under 5 pounds.
Just down wind of bird turd stench.
Sounds like a screaming deal!
Screaming for my money back!
What a joke.
HAHAHA

Videos keep getting better
Not u sure if you remember me
But the boat is still broken
And the mahi and yellow fin are biting everywhere right now
Not sure if your videos are easing the pain or making it worse

The bit in the beginning about the ship was awesome! Such great writing! It really made me imagine the night of the wreck instead of just just giving it a quick look. Thanks for that.

I have to try cook that fish dish, it looked amazing! No calico bass over here in Australia but I'm sure I can find an alternative.
What's the flesh like? Looked fairly firm

Another awesome video Rob! Thanks for all you bring this wonderful sport. I want to try LuLu's recipe, what temp was the oven on for the 1 hour cook time?

We have a couple WWI or WWII gun turrets at one of our state parks along Panama City beach. One got uncovered by Hurricane Michael
