shirt and can signify a well formed, big arm. I hear from guys all the time how they have problems developing peaks on their arms, but I think if you make just one or two tweaks to your workout program, this elusive holy grail of bodybuilding doesn't have to be so elusive after all. With one modification to grip (that most guys I see in the gym are NOT doing) the so called genetics that determine biceps peaks can become an excuse that doesn't hold water. It's quite possible to develop much more athletic looking arms. think Terrell Owens biceps. by doing some common everyday biceps exercises with a slight twist and modification to the form. This one modification to form will start to literally reshape your biceps and give you arms that you thought were only reserved for the guys that do biceps workouts 5 times a week (Don't do this guys. by the way. Let me show you how to tweak your current biceps routine to build mountainous peaks on your arms in no time. Celebrity fitness trainer and Men's Fitness Magazine writer Jeff Cavaliere shows you how to build shirt splitting biceps with just a few classic exercises that are tweaked to increase their effectiveness tenfold! As only you could expect from AthLEAN-X, we take the ever boring routines that you are tired of watching elsewhere on youtube and make them not only more interesting. but results getting! Visit and get your complete AthLEAN-X Training System today! An added tip to this bicep dumbell workout is to perform these curls in a hammer curl fashion, that is palms facing to the side, as opposed to facing up. This seems to target the peak even more specifically. By adding both regular and hammer curl you can increase variety in your killer peak bicep dumbell workout

-TheAdventureMen Lol you dont get big veins. the only time you see your veins is if you dont have a lot of body fat so they popout, and when their is blood pumping through them, if your slim enough you could simply hang your arm down and blood will rush through them and theyll pop out. But doing say bicep curls, ull see the veins in your arm a lot more clearer. so, long story short. either lose the body fat or find a way to pump blood into them. ie bicep curls, squeezing ur fist lol.

-TheNakedQuack i'm sorry to tell you this, but there is no straight up answer to that. what i can tell you is that mixing up your workouts can be a great way to both avoid boredom and keep your muscles adapting to different stresses. it can also help to overcome plateaus. one day, maybe do lighter weight for 15 reps, next workout 10 reps + more weight, next 5 reps high weight. you could 2 week periods of each. get creative, mix up your rep range and types of lifts. have fun.

Nice! I actually have a nice peak with my right Bicep, however my left one while has good size doesn't peak as high in comparison. Thought it was just one arm being Dominant.
However Tonight i noticed a flaw in my left arms form, as i was doing dumb bell curls. From that point i knew positioning and form must really influence your bicep's peeks.
Thanks for the tip, can't wait to try it, see if i can reshape my left, and get and even taller peek on my right.

-HerberttheHisser Ok, once a week, if work really hard. I just do not like the confabulation which are so closely intended (as peak of bicep. And the pieces of advice how to rotate your palms. It is just -windbagging-: . Especially peak of bicep is a matter of genetics rather than of how to hold the dumbbell. Hence I think who wants to have astounding arms, should rather work hard and after building certain mass, make it shaped. But not to think of peaks of biceps.

-dggame7 you may think you're doing everything right, but you're not. make sure you're at least taking 2sec down, 2sec up (real seconds, no swinging motions at all. also, you might not be using enough weight. for the last 2 or 3 reps of each set, your muscles should be absolutely screaming at you to stop, grunting and moaning should be occurring, and ignition of a piece of paper should be possible from the burn. especially for such high rep workouts.

I don't know if this method has a name, but I discovered it on my own about a year ago. I was actually flexing when I realized that tucking my wrists down, rather than in allowed a deeper contraction. I think that relaxing the forearm not only puts more weight on the bicep, but allows more room for a deeper contraction. And as I am learning, a DEEP contraction is more important than weight or reps. Awesome demonstration, and AWESOME biceps.

-viper619ful Pushups are a really good exercise as they work ALOT of muscles, including your chest and arms. However its not just about working out its getting plenty of rest afterwards, having the right diet etc. -
Your sure to get fitter and stronger by doing pushups but if you want really big muscles you generally have to do a range of different muscle exercises, sleep well, eat the right things and stick to it.

Hey Jeff, in the info box it says that you can do this exercise in a hammer curl way too. Please demonstrate how to do this and maybe some more peak exercises please. Also a video on how to get bigger arms and nicely defined shoulders would be nice. I want those nice shoulders with the lines of definition like u have they have 2 lines on each side that meet in the middle. Also some more tricep exercises would be great. Thanks.

Hey jeff, I love your videos! i have tendonitis in my wrists And i usually encounter -bad pain- related to that, when I have my tendons in my forearms being stretched as my arms are pulling. it's that counter tension that inflames my forearms. I noticed it's hard for me to do bicep curls without curling my wrists a lil too. any advice for getting my wrists strong enough, to give my biceps the peaks they deserve?

This is utter bollocks. You've either got a peaky bicep or not, this will not enhance the peak it'll only make your bicep bigger as like he said, it concentrates only on bicep without the aid of the Forearm. Believe me, my arms are 18inches plus I've done this exercise myself for years it made no difference to my -peak-. However his arms are awesome; )
BTW my body fat % is 9 before anyone comments
