-milleniumbass Workouts that promote becoming -leaner- and -more defined- are bs. It's myths like: low weight and high reps or using machines will just tone and really define your muscles without bulking up. Changing reps/weights will change which fibres you use and will promote growth either way. (It's good to switch it up) But the truth is, to get definition in your muscles you need to do HIIT cardio and limit your calories to burn fat. Get your BF% to under 10% and abs will show through.

-ChefGrogs agreed man, ive been training for a few years now and have done a lot of experimenting along the way and have started to learn as much as i can, recently ive been trying some total body workouts, inspired by the ones we see Jeff do such as the 300 and black friday workouts he made, been doing them only a week now and they have been unbelievably good, ive never felt so pumped with my high metobolism and low BF, kB swings, pull ups, burpees and starfish crunches are amazing try them

Hey man, love your vids, but I was wondering if you take any kind of protein powder or any supplements of the like. Also, my workout right now is three days a week, mon, wed, fri, back bi's and forearms one day, and chest tri's and shoulders the next. for each workout i do 3 for each muscle group(e. g. bench, military press, then tricep pushdown) reps of 12, 10, 8 increasing weight. I havent seen any progress in the past 2 months, have i plateau'd? what do you recommend?

realistically unless you have a demand for a specific sport to need to deal with unstable movement doing extra things onto a dumbbell row is just over complicating a basic movement.
everyday people aren't going to get extra aesthetic benefit from incorporating unstable movements and -core- specific work, unless the new trend is ripping peoples stomach's open for show.
bodybuilders are there to look as good as they can. you never see him doing a stability ball plank.

Open for all to reply;
Why do some guys seem to build mass, lose fat, yet once their in their 30s seem to lose ab definition? I say because there are guys where i train who have Massive arms, chest, back and legs yet no abs, even though they have definition everywhere but their abs.
By lacking definition of the abs i mean you cannot see the -6- but you can see the curvature which covers the -grid-. if you know what i mean.

Hey Jeff Ive been workiing out my abs for a while but its not reaally working and i barely feel a burn. Its weird because everything is alright with my body exept my abs which are starting to get reaally soft now. They're only really hard right after a work out. but after its flabby. I have the definition of a 6pack but there not hard at all. I dont think the sit ups i usually do are working. any tips on how to get rock hard abs?

-sandy3126 Sandy. overtraining! Way too much training without enough recuperation. Remember, you only heal and GROW during your time away from the gym. I would suggest a day off in between weight training sessions to start. If you would like to start following my recommended AthLEAN-X Split then I would invite you to go to my site to check it out. It will definitely help you bust through any plateaus. Stay Strong, Jeff

Very cool excersise, with all this variation it very hard to hit a plateau. i like it. I was just woundering about the first exersice wen i do chest press on the ball my neck is usualy on the ball. I notice wen you do yours your sitting higher with your neck off the ball. Why. Anyway all your worckout are super fun and challenging so fare some of the best one that i found on youtub. Keep it up.

dude if you want to really bulk up and get bigger, theres pretty much no way to go about it without using weights, end of. what jeff does is give you techniques that will get you bigger and leaner at the same time, I would try them first over a months and see if you improve and then see if you feel and look bigger and better dude
