10 Minute Upper Abs Workout at Home - Caroline Girvan

This is a follow along 10 minute abs workout to target the upper abdominal muscles. The rectus abdominis muscle runs down the centre of your torso from your sternum down to your pubic bone. When you work these muscles, they contract and all gear towards having visible abs when combined with a body fat percentage that allows visibility. However they have many important roles in our body such as flexion of our lumbar spine, postural support and tilting of the pelvis. Most of these exercises involves movements involving bring the chest towards the pelvis. The exercises are performed for 1 minute, straight onto the next however take a moment as and when you need it! Pike to leg lower Toe reaches Table top cross arm crunch Crunch Elbow to knee twist Elbow to knee twist Table top side reach Table top side reach Table top tuck Crunch pulses Try to relax your neck and use your upper ab muscles to lift your upper torso. This exercises, combined with core moments (such as planks and resistance training, high intensity workouts and a sustainable and healthy diet will over time progress to visible definition! I do this immediately after waking up in the morning without taking any liquid or food. It has been only 8days since i started this routine and I am flattered. The results are amazing. I dont do anything apart from this workout and i dont have any particular diet as well. I still see a huge difference in my upper abs area. I never thought that 10mins would make such a difference.

I added this after EPIC Heat Day 17 and I nearly collapsed. I was so exhausted and the exercises were damn hard. I thought my abs where in an ok state but this workout has proven me damn wrong. I didnt manage to work the entire 60 seconds. Had to pause after my abs started cramping -. Looking forward to my sore belly tomorrow -.

Did this as the follow on from the upper body day of the Circuits Series. Great to finish with some ab work. Always, enjoy Caroline's ab exercises they challenge you every time, even though you think you have strong abs think again, there is always, more work to do ---

I wish you could also make an erector spinae workout as an add on. I know it is not a top seller, but these muscles get neglected so much and during workouts they dont get as much attention as they need.

I almost did the full minute of Pike to Leg Lower! I remember trying this Abs workout over a year ago. I could not do even one! Caroline, you are special! and goat personal trainer. Thank you! --

Hi Caroline, I always use your upper abs videos but can we have some more of 10-15 min duration so that I don't always do the same exercises all the time. Thanks a lot
