FUSED Glutes & Core Workout - Giant Circuits - EPIC Endgame Day 33 - Caroline Girvan

The glutes and core will be challenged- but how good are we at performing each exercise to the very best we can? GLUTES Push against the band at ALL times! Lift during hip thrusts by -squeezing- the glutes! CORE During leg lift in plank, aim to keep hips facing the floor Relax shoulders Resist any movement at the hips Keep quads tight Brace that core! The timer will be on for 30 seconds per exercise within each giant set, with 4 exercises within each giant set! We then have 30 seconds for rest & to get into position for the next giant set! We perform each circuit for only 2 sets! These giant sets are formatted to mentally allow for you to push even harder during the sets as the next giant set will be a different exercise & position, changing from a hip thrust, then to planks, sumo squats and single leg body weight only hip thrusts! For this workout you will need a larger dumbbell / barbell / kettlebell, your mat, glute band and a chair / bench for hip thrusts! Alternatively you can perform bridges on the mat if you prefer! I also use a towel simply to place under the dumbbell during hip thrusts. The dumbbell I am using is 25kg! HIP THRUST 1/2 REP - HOLD - FULL - HOLD SUMO DEADLIFT 1/2 REP - HOLD - FULL - BODYWEIGHT HOLD BAND ONLY THRUST 1/2 REP - HOLD - FULL - HOLD ALT GLUTE CONTRACT - HOLD ALT GLUTE CONTRACT - HOLD X1 LEG THRUST 1/2 REP - HOLD - FULL - HOLD SWITCH SIDE! 1/2 REP - HOLD - FULL - HOLD X1 SIDE GLUTE CONTRACT - SWITCH SIDE - CONTRACT HOLD - SWITCH SIDE! FINISHER! 100 x DUMBBELL ONLY HIP THRUSTS! --- Oh yessss! One of my favourite glute workouts so far! Aside from pushing against that band when wearing it, think about really squeezing that glute during the planks! I-m pretty sure you-ll love this!

My goodness, this was by far the toughest workout I have ever done. I must have cursed at my poor hip band so many times throughout the workout! :p I feel such a burn on my knees especially, every time I use it, that is usually the biggest challenge in hip thrusts for me. But yes I hated this workout (translation: LOVED this workout) so much, this really pushed me to my limits and almost made me cry LOL especially when I started feeling the intense burn on my knees. Thank you for pushing me so much. I owe everything to you, Queen! Lots of LOVE to you!

I am curious. doing this tomorrow and You said you could do hip thrusts on a chair or on the floor? Which is more effective or does it matter? Sometimes I find a chair uncomfortable. But I want to be as effective as possible.

Yay! So excited to write this! Today I was able for the first time ever do sumo squats with 15kg, hip thrusts with 10kg and complete the finisher PLUS the optional add-on. Never felt stronger in my life, thank you Caroline

omg. I did one little change for this workout, instead of doing 100 rep. at the end. since I am trying to build some muscle I went for 12, 10, 8, 8 reps with heavier weight. 20, kg, 30kg, 40 kg. :)

Still smashing out endgame but working through with a cyst on my neck its certainly not comfy so from here till surgery date I'll be modifying x can't wait till your announcement tomorrow CG x

This was an amazing workout session for me! I used 15 kgs throughout the wokrout. I felt i could up the weight a little bit for the next workout. Growing stronger every day --

Just did this and loved the format! Went fast and I liked the different variations of the exercise. I did finisher on mat but felt it with the 44 lbs I used. On repeat list!

Recovered yesterday in my rest day. Simply fabulous, fantastic--. Today I feel my glutes sore! Great core work too. To be redone, absolutely!
