Ready to getting those shoulders bigger and really cap those delts off? This morning I woke up at the crack of dawn (you can tell by the intro because I look like I just woke up) and filmed video going over how you can connect better with your side delts. A lot of it has to do with really creating that connection first, exhausting the muscle then getting into a heavier movement. I went over a few examples in this video but don't be afraid to get inventive with it

Another excellent way to train side delts. My new hobby is going through Ryans's videos and trying all the exercises and doing them the way he advises. I am seeing very good results and I really enjoy his methods. I dont really need anybody replying to my comment about AthleanX and his methods. I would go to his site if I needed advice about him. although he is a great dude and nothing wrong with his way. Ryans way of training WORKS. Go back and start out on his first video and just do everything the way he says and by the time you get 10 workouts in. you and others will see results.

I usually like you content bit this is probably the worst tips for lateral heads I've seen. Your shoulder don't bloody need overloading the danger of ruining you rotator cuff is too great. Rather do lighter sets less test in between sets putting your arms so far back to do a lateral is not just shifting the weight to the traps but also your hand position is totally off your pinky should be higher which should place your elbow above your wrist on the up movement which ensures the lateral head activation. Sorry

Ryan's tutorials are the best I've found online. After 20 years training (and three gym-free Lockdowns in the past 12 months) I come back again and again for new ideas. This one, which I've attempted today, is another winner. Like a lot of older guys (who haven't looked after their shoulder mobility) I find it hard to connect with medial delts. Today, I did. I feel several inches broader, so thanks again Ryan!

Ryan, I-ve made massive gains within the last 4 weeks of training. I-m in the gym at 5am every morning with Sunday-s off. I-ve had hernia and back surgery and need to lose this damn belly fat at grow my abs but don-t want to strain my back on the ground busting out sit ups and crunches. Are there any cable workouts you can put up to bust out abs and obliques. Thanks bro! get after it! Get growin!

Just got back from my gym and have just tried this exact delt workout. fantastic! Used much lighter weight than usual, very strict and my shoulders were on fire at the end. saw all the ego boys looking at my 10kg dumbell, but I-m 46, 10% BF and 102kgs so who are the mugs! Thanks Ryan excellent advice. respect from London.

I have to ask for a guy who swears by cables is there a reason you only used dumbbells? I especially prefer cables for side laterals for two reasons. One constant tension and two even if you go past vertical it is very hard to use momentum because of the constant tension.

So far all of your videos are very helpful. I am at a stand still with my growth and need some further guidance. I am looking for a personal trainer, is this something you would be interested in getting paid for. Please let me know. I appreciate your time in advance.

If you only do partials, does that affect your ability to lift all the way up? Meaning, your ability to do something like a military press is reduced because all the exercises seem to be lateral and lower?

Hey Ryan great videos keep pushing. Gyms are closed people are selling weights at ridiculous prices. I bought resistant bands any good arm, chest, shoulder all around exercises. Thanks and keep pushing.
