Whats your thought on high rep pyramid workout. With 20 reps each set for a total of 7 sets? And for breaking a plateau by doing full rep and then a half rep but both counted on half rep, so all the way up and all the way down, then half way down and back up as one rep for 15 reps a set. trying to change up and get more variety in my lifts for chest when it comes to inline and flat bench.

This is such BS and you know it Ryan, why don't you see anyone else doing these? you get a big chest by doing the essentials, you DID NOT build your chest like this, you built it doing REGULAR, HEAVY ASS bench and DB presses and a TON of cycles, you're hindering peoples gains by introducing such BS, these okay exercises AFTER you've benched, dipped and DB pressed, as finishers

Haha pretty new to lifting since college. I think you-re hilarious but also a giant DB. That being said those two tips about incline with elbows in and much lower down the chest and the coffin presses made for the best chest workout I-ve had in a while. I feel my chest pumped. Almost no shoulders or even tris. So I thank you haha

I just started working out 2 days ago. planned a 5 days workout plan, changing muscle groups. My muscles are so SORE. Does it mean that I have to constantly feel pain? If I continue to workout hard? Forever? (pain = muscle tear = growth) so pain is necessary? or as we grow stronger, it will not be as sore?

This shit is dumb! In a good kinda horrible way. It will humble you for sure! Thanks Ryan for all the great tips on targeting muscle groups and the comedic relief. For years I was just going through the motions. Now I feel like I-m actually making some progress. Keep the videos coming!

That last exercise was the best because it removes the triceps as a limiting factor, which is a problem when doing pushups or bench presses. With this exercise (and also by doing a moving plank exercise) you can work your pecs to exhaustion rather than your triceps.

Thank you Ryan I've been struggling a lot with bars and dumbbells to get a muscle contraction in my chest ever since I started training but today in the gym I got a grasp of it. All thanks to your amazing tips, my pecs will forever be in your debt have a good one.

Dude so I have a request, when I do chest my left pec suck, because my delt jumps in, no matter what I do. The only thing that works is to press a 10lb dumbbell. My question is, is there anything I can do to fix that and avoid my front delt jumping in

Just so you novices know, Ryan built the pecs he has from large compound movements. Not these ridiculous -connection- movements. You want gains? Starting strength is what you need and then build off that. This is just complete horse$hit.

Yeah, chest is definately best over devolped, mine used to be and it was awesome now its overshadowed by these freaking cannon balls and it just looks weird. Big delts look awesome but you gotta have the big chest to go with it
