WORST Exercises For Building MUSCLE? sport: Thanks for another great video. I've implemented your ideas into my workouts with an alternating PPL routine with sickening - success, literally. First day high rep/low weight, next day being more strength/compound focused, and so on. I can only safely lift so much on the bench without a BB so for me the BB bench is definitely a keeper! The biggest take away from everything I've seen you put out is to throw technical form out the window and find what works with your body for the best connection. Absolute game changer. Thanks for going against the grain, the information you share is invaluable!

i always laugh when i see people prioritize flat bench, because they want a nice chest. they will never get it from flat bench. incline bench or dbs are far superior. hell even incline smith press is highly superior to flat bench. and this guys, is why 75% of guys that rush to flat bench on chest day don't have good pecs. pretty much wasting their time. flat bench is only good for triceps and shoulders (closer grip, elbows tucked.

I-ve never seen burpees as a muscle building workout or a workout to end all workouts but it-s definitely a survival style workout. Getting knocked down and your ability to get back up faster is how you protect yourself. Unless your ground game is just ridiculous. What-s overrated is a bunch of fitness people adding burpees as an overrated exercise. You should do all movements you can. You should work out for survival.

Paid the 20 and got the workout. Love your videos and no-nonsense way of talking about real issues for men. too many soy-boy videos on this website. I was military for 25 years, so yeah, that helps me relate to the way you speak. I was looking for a new, more productive workout to do with my 15 y/o so who swims in high school so here we go. Keep doing what your doing and don't stop. Cheers!

Best exercises for building muscle. carrying two bundles of shingles at a time up a ladder. Carrying concrete block all day long. Digging with a shovel all day long. Digging post holes by hand. Splitting fire wood. Lifting steel beams into place. Get out of the gym and go outside and do something productive. I build muscle all the while doing something productive that doesn't involve only me.

I-m glad that this man doesn-t absolutely desecrate the Smith machine and actually sees value in it. I have a Smith machine kinda thing at my house (it is a machine combo of like a lat pull down, all that jazz) and the contraction is really nice. If I need to use my stabilization muscles and all that I just grab the dumbbells. Every workout and machine has its place IMO.

Jump rope. The muscle growth you-ll get from doing weighted calve raises or seated valve raises in ten reps is essentially five minutes of jumping.
As far as cardio goes, box jumps hit calves and cardio in half the time. There-s no advantage to building reflexes to jump an inch in the real world and you-re going to slice your ankles every time once fatigued.

Hi Ryan, I-m after a little more info on the 30 day program.
Is it one program for 4 weeks? Or a new one every four weeks -
And is it personalised or general.
Btw I-ve been watching your vids for a few months now and I-m glad I share the same planet with you. Keep up the good work, I-m using what I get from your vids to save my health.

Can your program work well for someone starting out in his late 50s. I-m motivated but I-ve always had a skinny body. Seeing some results with my personal trainer after three years, but I want more results. Taking in more protein is making a big difference. just don-t want to get your program if it-s for muscle men trying to get bigger.

Guys don't forget, this is about building MUSCLE, not overall fitness. I'm the biggest burpee fan there is but I admit it's not great if you wanna get strong. It's a solid full-body cardio exercise and you should definitely include them in workout routines as either a warm-up or killer ending, but it's not for getting big muscle gains.
