Legs / calves & questions - backyard workouts #12 - Buff Dudes
video description
I'm relatively new to the gym, 6 months in & I've went from 120lbs to 135lbs.
I want to start a program that will help me gain mass/weight as well as gain strength, would 5x5 be a good program for me?
My current program involves a cycle that does 5 reps & I feel like I need a bit more volume than just 5 reps.
Any advice Buff Dudes?

A video addressing rest days and overtraining would be great dudes. I hate taking days off from training. Loving these workout videos, I throw them on while I train, motivation to the max! Psyched for the book to come out, going to get a few copies and gift it!

Btw, seriously digging the 60fps! What camera do you guys use? In the market for a sweet camera to record personal progress.

Hey guys! What do you think about 5x5 program used the way that I start with 75% of 1RM first week, then second week 80% of 1RM and third week 85% of 1RM and then finally the fourth week is PR week.

Whenever there seems to be a -Romanian- variant of a normal exericse, it always seems to not be that full exercise. Wonder why lol

I literally just got home from destroying my legs today! Question? - What do think about having a protein shake during your training/lifting?

How do you guys feel about using lifting straps? My grip strength seems to always fail before my larger muscle groups do. Thanks Buff Dudes!
