3 easy tips for better bent over rows instantly - Buff Dudes Frank: Hey I got a pretty important question for you Buff Dudes. What is your opinion on overhand grip vs. underhand grip on this exercise? I prefer to do underhand mainly due to having minor Kyphosis (aka a crooked ass back. But I want to know if you guys have any opinion on which is better, and if you think I will get better in building my strength goals by changing grip style.

In the internet, i find that we exhale during the -concentric/exertion- part of the movement and we INHALE during the eccentric(while bringing back the bar down.
In this video it seems to be the opposite, isn't it? :/

Bentover rows fixed my low back pain. I had to start very carefully though with light weights, just the bar, thought my back was going to give out at first but slowly strength increased and pain went away.

All these years I was bringing the bar to the chest and using much lighter weight. Thank-you for the clear instruction. What is the benefit to bringing it to the abdomen?

do I bring the bar to my stomach or chest? someone told me in the gym I should bring it to my chest and the guy in the video said stomach is there a difference?

Good pointers, was doing the beginners 12 week program, stuck at day 1 exercises still, form needed work for squat and bent over row, both videos helped

I would complain that this could have been a bit more brief. But it was actually a pretty adept break down so I can't complain about that. Nice!

I like that this was not a 30 min video to say all that. Nothing is more annoying than that when your trying to get a strate answer

I found this variation works my upper back instead of lats. I have a vid about a variation which i found hits lats much more.
