Okay you guys, I know this video is called level 1 but really, it's for ALL levels because today, I really want to make sure we have a solid pilates abs foundation. Im very torn about this video. I used to LOVE Blogilates and did all the calendars going back 8-9 years ago. They got me in the best shape I had ever been. Fast forward to having 3 kids and a resulting diastasis recti and now Im nervous about doing these ab moves because so much material out there says these moves arent good and can either worsen a diastasis or even cause. So I dont know what to do or think regarding starting to work out again. Ive tried postpartum routines and just didnt enjoy them so I gave up. I want to do these workouts cuz I know I loved them in the passed but I dont want to destroy my pelvic floor or worsen a diastasis. Anyone else in the same boat?

My core has always been extremely weak compared to the rest of my body, and I've followed your videos for some time now with hope to get stronger - and today was the first time I could do the exercises without the stabbing pain I usually get from my back muscles over-compensating for my lack of ab strength. It felt completely magical, I was genuinely doubting whether my abs would ever get stronger, and now this! so happy to be able to do your videos from home: )

I used to do your workouts in college but haven't participated in a few years bc I've always had really physical jobs. I'm switching into a much less physical job for the first time and figured it was time to hop back on that blogilates train since I won't just have exercise inherently at work, so I started the beginners calendar!
those candlestick dippers were a much appreciated break after jumping straight into ab workouts for the first time in years.

Hiyaaa! I love this workout so so much! It's my 3rd day. I've been doing the 10 minute full body workout before doing this workout and I decided to do this workout for like a month maybe before I will move to the level 2 to strengthen my abs first. I am very happy so far too bc I think my abs are forming ) Lol. Anyway, so excited to the next level and I just wanna say that thank you so much for doing these workout videos bc it really helps a lot.

hi cassey! not sure if you'll see this but it's worth a try. i have a condition where my wrist has a large lump meaning i cannot bend it (i. e. pushing down on the floor, like in a plank) without extreme pain. i was wondering if there's any other way to do things like planking without bending my wrist that way? obviously there is the elbow plank but i would eventually like to work my way up to something more difficult. thanks!

Ive been doing this every day for about a week and I love it! One question though I think Im doing a good job of pressing my lower back into the mat, but I can still feel the work out in my lower back muscles! Its not causing me issues the rest of the day; it feels more like maybe my lower back muscles are a bit weak and having to catch up with the new level of exercise. Is that normal, or do I need to work on my form?

Blogilates! THIS Is the best beginner calender you have ever made! I did your first version in 2014, and I tried to do your second version around 7 months after I had abdominal surgery. I have been out of it since 2017 bc of an injury and the surgery, and every time I tried to get back into it with your second version beginner's it was just too much. THIS one gives me HOPE that I can get back into it again!

ooooooh, this is day one for me for sure. I am very overweight and need a change in my life. I did yours videos quite a few years back and things happened and I gained everything back plus some. I will say this video was awesome and I am glad I do not have neighbors because they would probably have thought I was being murdered. I got through it and I am proud of myself. Can't wait for day two!

I used to shy away from your longer videos and do more of your shorter workouts back to back, but after doing your 2021 challenge I'm more open to videos like these. Thank you for giving me an alternative workout instead of running when it's really cold. I love running, and have been a runner for the past 5-6 years, but today it is 15 degrees where I live and this is just what I needed. :)
