30 Minute Stretches for Splits! - Blogilates

Before you press play, I just wanna say the intention of this video is NOT to get you into a perfect front split in 30 minutes. You guys, that's not possible! What this stretch routine will do is get you CLOSER to the splits every time you do it. So will you be able to reach a front split eventually? It's totally possible! Just listen to your body. Here are today's stretches: 00: 00 Intro 0: 45 Wide leg fold 1: 57 Wide leg fold stretch 3: 12 Pike 6: 00 Low lunge to triangle - R 7: 51 Low lunge to straight knee - R 8: 48 Lizard circles - R 10: 20 Low lunge arms up - R 11: 33 Quad Stretch - R 14: 20 Low lunge to triangle - L 16: 07 Low lunge to straight knee - L 17: 41 Lizard circles - L 18: 52 Low lunge arms up - L 20: 11 Quad Stretch - L 22: 35 Half Split - R 23: 53 Split - R 26: 57 Half Split - L 28: 16 Split - L 31: 22 Outro

My updates:
Day 1: Ok I am amazed to be honest, I am normally not even close to doing front splits. I am more of a middle splits person so I was pretty bad but after doing this for the first time I actually saw improvement and I am proud and will be attempting to do this daily. (Yes, I will be updating.
Day 2: I did it with my sister and our thighs are in pain hopefully it will be better tomorrow.
Day 3: Ok getting better.
Day 4: my thighs.
NB: I could not continue editing this so I will come back to this when I am on the floor.

after doing this one time, I SEE SO MUCH INPROVMENTS IN MYSELF!
it's day, and I'll be doing this for about a month or so.
on my right side im half a hand off the ground! And on my left side I'm one hand off the ground! I've always been more flexible on my right side and less on the left. THANK U SO MUCH FOR THIS!

I have been looking for so many vids to learn the splits but none of them worked but this vid helped me get at least further but I'm still not there and it was rlly inspiring when she said that she took year's to learn it I an doing this for a week straight so I hope I can do ur by then

I really needed to get my splits for aerials silks or else I'd be kicked off the team! (Rules ig) and 3 weeks before I needed to have them I was trying really hard to get flat and found this and did this every day every week and was flat on each side, thank you so so so much!

My body is hurting it's been like 24 minutes I am dead right now but at least I tried and I'm gonna continue the rest and see if it worked or not or like not working or not like getting more flexible do you know what I mean OK bye bye-bye bye-bye bye-bye bye

it's been months since i try to have the split. i'm a 15cm from the floor and i can't go closer. I was training 1h every 2 days. Now it's been one week i do this video everyday, but instead of getting closer; i'm getting further! Why? T-T

I could only do like 9 mins of this before my legs started to really hurt but Ill try to do more next time. This is a really good exercise for hip stretches I feel like none of the other ones Ive seen and done were quite as effective.
