The 25 MOST Influential Online People, World Cup Scandal, & The Capital Gazette SYND Gubms: I think influence is something that can be looked at differently, what may influence an older man may not influence a younger girl or a teenage boy. so to categorize the people that I personally think are the most influential, maybe a difficult and quite skewed, but ill try anyway. 5. Kanye West - he influences not only the rap community (a music industry that is listened to by a wide spectrum of ages) but also the fashion industry, with what he wears and his Adidas originals partnership (Yeezys. 4. Donald Trump - as much as we love him or hate him there is no doubt that he has a HUGE online personality, whether he makes a well thought out twitter post or tweets something he will soon regret, it all ends up on our news feed, which is what gives him huge influence. 3. The two Paul brothers - whether logan is obnoxiously filming a man who has didn't have the will to keep living or jake has stolen logans remaining brain cells and started yelling WALLLLMARTTTTT at the top of his voice, it is without a doubt that this brother duo has a huge influence on the younger generation, a generation that will one day be making decisions regarding the health and well-being of our population, or yelling Walmart. 2. Tyler Blevins (aka Ninja) - If you haven't heard of the game Fortnite it is likely your in a coma, wake up every teenager and his dog is playing this widely loved video game, and the most influential player is none other than Ninja, Tyler has a HUGE fan reach, he currently holds the world record for most twitch viewers at one time when playing with superstar Drake. Ninja has a huge effect on the teenage population of this world with the entertainment he provides. 1. Drake - Drake is now a household name, this man has the record for most Spotify listeners in a month and is still number one artist on Spotify, His influence reaches teens and adults all across the globe with people trying to be more like him, Drake is an avid Instagram user which help people learn more about this man. And Drake appears as an everyday dude when participating in acts like playing with ninja in Fortnite. what are your thoughts on this list.

I have definitely seen both sides of the coin on the debate on how influence can lead to violence. I am no expert in anything but my own truths and i am a believer in the understanding that we all cannot control others actions. We are responsible for taking care of our own monsters we face in ourselves. To blame people for others actions is a very weird concept to me since actions speak way louder than words. However I also understand what it means to be taught to think a certain way and be wrongfully influenced/conditioned in their actions. Which is why I believe that we need to be more educated on ourselves, our fears and why we have certain thinking patterns and from that learn how to prevent the monster we hold inside us back. It is very different for each person and everyone lives in their own worlds with their own shadows. People need to figure out how they want to live their life and how to prevent you from being in a state of misery and destruction. That only starts when they are influenced by the right people/fall in love and realise the constant quiet anger is only weighing them down. From there find their own path of healing and growth whatever that may be.

Oh boy do I have so much to sayFirst off, Im one of those deep dive people. My passion is Broadway, and when I get really into a show, I tend to look back at everything ensemble members have ever done but its out of genuine interest. Its about wanting to know where theyve been and what theyve done so I can give genuine, heartfelt compliments when I get to meet them that goes beyond you were really good in the show and throwing my playbill at them. But the second one, both of my parents worked at the newspaper when I was going and I just started my own online editorial board so this is the closest to home a shooting has got since the Pulse shooting. My first thought was it had to be Trump related but when I said that, my dad said Oh, you are NOT putting this on Trump. Do you know what the motive was? Because he didnt know yet either. But, when a crime reporter is calling something bad, you know its not a good situation. But still, journalism is a dangerous field and it always has been. I mean, right now the decrying of fake news And enemy of the American public Is upping the ante, but nothing but my love and support to the Capital Gazette for putting out a damn paper.

Seeing too many he's biased comments, and I think it's pretty obvious that Phil is biased. The mere fact he declares it's his opinion is a statement that he is very much open to admitting biases, compared to most news and media outlets that are saying they are non-partisan but obviously biased. That's what makes his brand of reporting and journalism REAL for me, he admits to personal views, personal biases and opinions but is still presenting facts, what is there, is open to discourse and wants us to let him know our thoughts on the matter. Agree or disagree, he'll open up the conversation (unless of course you start with the ad hominems a guy can only take so much bull esp from the internet. That's what makes him different. He's honest to himself that as humans we're more inclined to our own set of beliefs, and I think that's a step close to realness we'll ever get in this day and age. Again that's my takeaway, my personal view on this, happy to just let this out there.

Trump in a way did cause this shooting. Maybe not in a direct Hey you, go shoot up this place but like you said, words have power. Using words like Enemy of the people is a VERY strong phrase that will influence, for better or worse, your followers. And in a way, yeah, Trump is two-faced. Whenever I hear fake prankers say It's just a prank bro after scaring the shit out of someone, I see them as two-faced. Two-faced is literally defined as insincere and deceitful, so trying to minimize the prank you just did is deceitful. Same with Trump. We know he hates any news organization that doesn't support him, calling them fake news or enemy of the people. He might not be trying to minimize his previous words, but his actions have constantly said more than enough. I'm sure he will not wish ill on those who oppose him, but I'm more than certain that he won't give more than a days thought to the victims.

I think the worst part of this shooting story is that its a political story. 5 people are dead and each side of the isle can only talk about why it wasnt their fault or why it was the other sides fault. The real highlight of the status of the country is that mass shootings have become opportunities for politicians to campaign around and the name of the shooter is more reported than the names of the victims. I dont care how hot or cold the bodies are, lives have been lost and everyone from msnbc to brietbart can only talk about whos to blame while throwing insults and their counterparts. Its disgusting that the paper that was attacked is the only place that took the time to document the people that were taken from this earth because everyone else is consumed with guns and the people that shoot them at people.

Some comments are saying your opinion is somewhat biased in this case and they might be right, but I believe the premise of your argument is true. I don't believe words are the only thing that matters here (satire is nothing new to politics, but as you've said in previous videos, context is important. Even if someone does not use extreme statements of violence against the media, when you have a group of influential figures collectively and continually shining individuals or the media in a negative light, this sets the premise for polarization/radicalization of attitudes on a personal level by exposure to widespread, public discussion. Edit: And of course, in the age of the internet, widespread public discourse has only magnified this effect, hence violence becoming the norm of extreme responses.

Knowing you have a strong platform here on YouTube as being a more sensible reporter of the news, it upsets me you are slowly tipping towards the same logic that got us to this period of division. Election of Trump does not = more gun violence. This is no different from equating video games to gun violence. Has Trumped called for violence? No. So stop using him as a scapegoat for a bundle of other problems like lack of mental illness care, shitty parenting, a messed up economy thanks to war and illegal immigration that leads to unhappy Americans, media intentionally perpetuating lies and bias on both sides and emphasizing killers for ratings, OR THE SHOOTER HIM/HERSELF. Get to the source of the problem and stop playing the Left-Right game.

Words absolutely do matter. What Milo said is pretty unforgivable, though frustration can make people say the worst things, but people with influence should hold their tempers in check. Though, I don't feel like Trump was being two-faced there. Even if you view someone as your enemy, that doesn't necessarily mean that you want them dead, and either way, it's still possible to see them as Americans, even if they're viewed as enemies. I haven't heard/read enough about Milo to say more. What I've seen of Trump though is that he can be immature and thoughtless, so he could also just be trying to get the sympathy of the people.

Nobody is at fault except the shooter. Hannity is wrong, anyone blaming guns is wrong, anyone blaming Milo is wrong. I dont really like Milo, I find some trolls of his funny, but most not. But to say he is to blame for an out of context joke is ridiculous. Same thing with President Trump. He says that Fake News is the enemy. Not the press in general. Which is true. Malicious lying should be everyones enemy. While I think Trump uses the fake news term when things arent fake news, genuine lies seem to be ignored by Trumps critics.
