Was much more an INFP person before I face my personal problems in live. Grown more INTP to do more rational decisions to keep my ass survive.
I care of the feelings of others as usual, but I tend to choose more rational options when it comes to myself than before.
Its not that I value rational thinkings over than my own feeling, its just that I realized if I am not able to get myself enough bread and a place to call home, it is highly likely that Ill become homeless, have to sent away my cats for their own good, and starve to death on my own, just like the beggars and homeless people I had helped about half year ago.
Things happened, and I was forced by reality to find a room for rent that accept pets in two days, which is much rare than those not accepting pets.
Those house or rooms usually either means 1. Higher rent 2. Theres something wrong that the land lord has to allow pets to attract people to rent their house.
From that day, I have kept telling myself, survival is the most important rule in my life. Anything thing I do shouldnt violate this rule, although I still break this rule sometimes, such as wasting my time typing here.
The frequency of disobeying the rule decreases as time goes by, and me and my cats live a safer life than before. Hope those who read my short story live a safer and happier life, too.

I am ambidextrous with a slight right-hand dominance. I can write and draw with both hands but do so slightly better with the right, probably because I have been trained and practiced at doing so. However, I prefer activities which involve both hands because this integrates the two hemispheres of my brain, leaving me in a highly focused and peaceful state. Maybe this is why I agree with both types to some degree. I am not an 'either or' but an 'and. ' Also, I was more artistic in the first 18 years of my life and more analytic/scientific as an adult. I attribute this more to my dominant brain wave state shifting from a generally alpha wave state to more of a stress-driven, problem solving, analytic beta wave state. If so, I think I would love to shift back into a predominant alpha wave state for this final chapter.

I've got INFP and INTP personality types with some months of difference, using the same test, and this surprises me that i fit into some characteristics of INFP, but i also fit even more into the characteristics of INTP, even in the description of the test and not only in this video.
I clicked into this video for have a definitive answer, but it got me thinking if there is a possibility of having a third personality type between INFP and INTP lol
Im pretty much confused here so, if anyone can tell what i have, please answer me since it is, apparently, impossible to have both personalities-

I blame 16personalities and the aura around the word morals for how people portray INFP, the stereotype is so inaccurate. INFPs often have a very rigid view on right and wrong, but their Fi function makes them very independent from the general population's view on morals. They can align, but that's not guaranteed. Having morals doesn't meen being a stereotypically good person, it just means that you have some set of values that you follow unconditionally. An INFP can be your trusted friend, or they can be Bondrewd, or something inbetween.

4: 40 I'm infp (by the 16 personalities test, that site) and me and my friend get into fights when we have different points of view lol. Sometimes I wonder if I'm really an infp or if I have an enneagram that makes me a mediator that's a bit out of line because there are things that I can report both in infp and intp. I'm not quite that friendly and charitable way that this personality looks like but i think I'm not enough to be a intp too. Dis shit makes me confuse

Actually, Jung used Charles Darwin as example of Extraverted Thinking type as opposed to Immanuel Kant as Introverted thinker in Psychological Types.
INTPs can be artistic as well, though there is usually a different flavor to their art - usually realistic, technical with straight forward logical metaphors of the analytic Ti rather than deep impressionistic symbolism of Ni or imaginative fantastic worlds of synthetic Fi.

once again, i do not apply well to either category without equal parts being apart of the 'opposing idea. If this trend i am noticing holds like i am beginning to think it will i may never understand how to deal with others beyond the minimal level i currently possess. That is a shame, i have many areas i wanted to try my hand at and now it seems like i will never get to know.

Well, when I did the test at first, my result came out as INTP 3 times in a row (yes, I did it 3 times in a row in an hour, I had to check if it was random or real, but then, like two months later, it was INFP. Since then, every time I re-do the test (twice a year, it changes from one to the other.
Funny stuff how it mixes up sometimes by the way.

i am a intp 4w5, the most creative intp. sometimes it is so hard to stop asking myself if i am a infp. Dear myself for how many time I went threw this and analysed it from every angle, dear me, please start being productive and quit overanalysing things what shouldn't be this much payed attention on.

i have traits from both sides. i overthink a lot, i like to explore new ideas and topics, i am very sensitive, i like hanging out with people but not too much because i get bored/tired. That being said, i am an INTP. This is what i got from almost all the tests i have taken.

Im confused, I got INFP before but I took the test again and got INTP, I feel like Im more artistic, I can read peoples emotions pretty well but I feel like a lack sympathy. But I am very indecisive. I feel like Im nice but also not. IDK IM CONFUSED SOMEONE HELP

It's weird. I was an INFP for most of the times I took this test, but today I tried again afer 2 years and the result I was given was INTP. I don't understand what happened but after reading more about INTP I realized i'm both in some-weird-concoction way.

I'm definitely a mix of two based on my mood and situation when encountered. I may lean more toward INFP in terms of artistic and some feelings decision making but then I like a good challenge, and mysterious books and always consider logical in my thoughts.

They may be 3% and 5%, but good luck trying to find these people. You'll literally have to break into the home where it seems like no one's living, and find them scurrying in a dark corner hoping you'll leave them to their comfort.

I did the test multiple times and each time time I either got INFP and INTP which made me confused. While I have a few traits of INTP but I feel as if I'm closer to INFP as a whole and this video cleared things up so thank you: ]

What if youre both artistic and investigative? My Holland Code is AIE but sometimes when I take the test the S. social is the same score as E. Any INTP types with this code?
