Another tip I discovered for making other people like you was something I found out in college.
A lot of people enjoy talking about themselves. If you listen actively to them, as in paying attention and showing an interest in what they are talking about, they will often appreciate that, trust you more, and grow to like you as a person. I've always been a quieter person myself, so I did this a lot in college, especially for people I met in my choir class. Come to find that at the end of the year (and in my subsequent years in choir, everyone knew who I was and people wanted to get to know me. I made a lot of wonderful friendships in college as a result, many of which persist to this day.
TL; DR: Wanting to be heard is one of the most fundamental human needs. If you show yourself to be a good listener, people will grow to like you more and open up to you more as a result!
I hope you have a wonderful day, and don't forget to take some time out of your busy schedule to slow down and show someone that you love them! :)

Honestly to be more likable I used some of those tactics like sharing secrets. BUT. I was kinda trusting others too fast so after a while my trust was betrayed in many cases and because of that the heart broken. It's HARD to have balance in all this.
But indeed other tips seem to be good and genuine.
And is it just me, or this animation style is new and also super adorable? :)
P. S Love the face of Psi in 4: 54 when he blinks towards us. A perfect positive icon for an eventually new avatar x3

I don't know if it would be a good idea to show my flaws before I get to know the other person. I learned that sometimes it's better to let the other person open up first and then I can decide whether I'll open up to them or not. Cause otherwise they might use the embarassing stories I tell them against me. Or maybe it's just that I had too many bad experiences with people

Love is confusing and painful. Some people aren't cut out for relationships. I know I'm not. I don't ever want someone to love me because I don't deserve it. Life is hard and miserable and I don't want anyone to struggle with me. They all deserve better than being my friend. Period. I never received any kind of love growing up, why should I want it now?
reply

I mean, yeah, generally people who actually have similar interests is a good one. But some people just use that shit to rope you in. Omg! Samesies! Really? Or are you just saying that so I like you? Authentically having the same interest is one thing. Saying you do so people like you or give you a chance is just sad & people need to stop doing that.

Wanting to be loved by others is a dumb goal. Doing things or saying things that are not like us leads us to perdition and makes us hypocrites.
The most important thing is to be real and not to be a people pleaser. Self-love despite our flaws and insecurities has to be most important thing.
Very disappointed with the theme of this video.

I pre-warn people that Im a train wreck and I miss social cues. I let them know that I am just pre-warning them so they can decide whether or not they want to have anything to do with me.
Sometimes it works out great sometimes, not so much. On the plus side, it helps keep me from wasting their time and mine.

The Pratfall effect, it depends who you are dealing with. A colleague with low self esteem likes nothing better than when I make a mistake. With great delight he'll rag on me for doing so. Obviously I really dislike the guy but I understand he tries to feel better about himself by cutting me down.

I really feel I don't do anything to make others like me. Others probably like me because i have a very kind and caring nature. What they also like about me is that I'm someone who has a very high drive, someone who wants to do anything to make something complete.

My school changed my class when i was 10 yrs old. I try to make new friends there and i did few of these tips. I had like 12 classmates on my side, meanwhile 3 of them were pretending to be my friends after i watched a video about How to know you have toxic friends.
reply

Yeah one thing I would like to add is -
when messaging someone or meeting in person always try to mention their name, it's a proven psychological fact that most of the times that person will feel better and most likely end up liking u

reply

yes be open open up your mind open up your heart and encourage others to do the same be crazy be freaky be weird and let all your natural flow, problems and akwardness are just incsicurities based on illutions.

I don't know, my biological father's family loved me when they thought I was perfect and then when something bad happened they all ghosted me birthing perfect me and if anything bad happens I tell no one.
reply

im clicking on this video because i think the title is honest to god for toxic attraction, i dont think there is any way to make people like you. everyones different, they either like you, or they dont.

I find that sometimes that color of clothes will impact how people perceive me too. Whenever I wear pink or blue, people tend to trust and like me when meeting for the first time.
reply

3rd one is proved, my ex girlfriend used that on me back when we only just met. Told me a secret although she only wanted to be bestfriends it still worked the same way.

I really like that you colored the sub title, its a nice toutch and detail
. it seems like though that love is a far thing that I will probably not reach: /

Watching SpongeBob should not be kept a secret, it would be weird if they felt embarrassed because they watch that. Who cares everyone likes that show anyway
reply

Im always scared and afraid to talk to someone in my school in the class i am is very toxic and idk what to do im scared to make friends.
reply

I'm 22, I watch SpongeBob and I'm proud of it. If you think, that it should be a secret, it's not gonna work out between us.

People find making mistakes more likeable than perfection.
My teeth have been set on edge, for whatever reason.

reply

Gotta be efficient. I need to make a mistake while anticipating telling a secret about something we have in common.
reply

I just want People to atleast ask me How I am doing And Atleast Give Me a little bit of attention That's it!
reply

THANK YOU! I always wanted people to like me and not treat me like nonsense by default. Maybe this will help.
