want to know something exciting and awesome? they have Gloves that you can wear when using VR, so that you can actually touch and feel it! they already made 360 Treadmills but I don't know about the suits you wear to feels object and forces. I think that they are working on suits to wear like that. but. the most exciting thing is. they are making. The Oasis. yea, I'm not kidding! you can already play a WIP simulation of the Oasis! but do you know how freaking amazing your computer has to be when The Oasis is Fully Complete? well I bet they are gonna make future computers that are gonna work faster than NASA's Super Computers (no offense NASA.

Its painfully obvious that half the time you get someone to speak over your video and explain something they never watched themselves when words and names they say A MILLION times in the movie are said like they just tried to sound it out and go from there, not even the only video Ive noticed it in. Is there a reason you just hand scripts to someone and tell them to go for it. Is it just specifically to make your videos dog shit or is it just cause you dont feel like putting in effort?

Fantastic book, terrible movie. I'm surprised that Cline let Spielberg butcher his story like this. I guess director star power and lots of money are the reason. Spielberg should have watched The Martian to see the correct way to make a hit movie from a best seller. If you think the Transformer movies are good, you might like this movie. If you want a real story with substance over special effects, read the original book. This movie has almost nothing in common with original story.

Yet there was no explanation of what the old and young versions of Halliday were at the end. My personal theory is that he's an artificial Intelligence of some kind, perhaps the very heart of the oasis simulation itself, a construct Halliday was able to create from scanning his mind. After all the journals were basically an archive of all of his memories, so having a program that's been given them could become a carbon copy of the man he was before he died.

Would definitely recommend reading the book before the movie! Doing so has made me appreciate the ways in which Steven Spielberg and the scriptwriters put their own unique twist on the original story. Be prepared for late nights of page turning though, I personally had trouble putting it down. I also thought the relationship between Wade and Artemis was considerably more romantic in the novel. Who doesn't like a bit of romance?

This could be made in real life. I can explain this because if we have virtual reality already in what like 2015? And this is set in 2045. And we have a game called vr chat which is very similar to this movie (and book) where you can go into portals and choose your avatar. So I think if technology keeps moving on well have this in the future. Just a thought though.

who needs this explained? this movie was the most surface level masturbatory nostalgia project ever created. Even the book has some of the most simplistically direct writing everrrrr. this movie was shiny garbage. so heavy handed it literally says that reality is the only thing that's real multiple times. like come on that's just terrible writing.

It's all setting up Ready Player Two. The title, like so many of Looper's titles, is not only misleading but isn't accurate. A title is intended to give a hint on some aspect of the media. Yours suggests an explanation of the end and then gives a brief synopsis of the movie. They explain the ending at the ending of the movie. Nothing more to explain.
