Whoever told this guy he should wear old style hats must have been blind because those hats are hideous. He is a very vibrantly dressed guy I get that but I really think he needs to just shave his head if the hats are to cover him balding. Edit: I'm surprised the old Italian grandma didn't hit him with a wooden spoon and tell him to not wear his hat inside.

omg, the first dish is parmesan cutlet, a mix-up of 2 real recipes (ofc parmigiana and cotoletta alla milanese, a confusing (at least for us, bad because the meat is too thin, non italian dish? And it's the best italian restaurant! How are even the others?

3 things I learned reading through the comments. 1. DON'T touch the plate until the chef is done with it. 2. Eater has good content but terrible hosts. 3. Shut the efffff up Marcus, nobody in the comment section likes you.

It won't be long before every Italian on the internet swarms here to tell us how this is not authentic Italian food, because the only thing they love more than Italian food is telling everyone else how we got it wrong.
reply

Irony. The title says they're making lasagna and got off track in the middle and started talking about family and the lasagna is nowhere near done. Just like your typical american italian movies.

that lasagna looked great, but this video cut out before they finished and we could see how it looked fully cooked! it's more like how this company makes veal and tease a lasagna.
reply

Pasta cooked with salt to al dente, not rinsed in cold water, but drained and mixed with oil on baking sheets is real pasta, not the way most American restaurants make pasta so called.

what's with these cooking shows that shows randomly zoomed in and shaky shots just when I want to see how they make the food? Hell, we didn't even get to see the finished product! WHY?
reply

There wasn't enough of the lasanga making process, and you didn't even show the end product, or what it looks like after a slice is cut. That completely ruined the video for me.
