Healthy Chocolate Almond Breakfast Donuts
video description
Quick question though, John - any way to sneak a banana in the batter? Would I cut back on anything, or just mash one up and toss it in?

That is so odd. Not heard the covfefe word since it happened until about ten minutes ago when it popped up on the news. But that's irrelevant. I adore your donuts and your voice. It's been years but it's as good as ever, chef. I don't know why but I thought your voice would have gone all croaky but it's lovelier than ever, chef. :)

I can't eat gluten (wish that wasn't the case, but the doctor says it is, and was fully prepqred to watch your video anyways just for the entertainment of it.
And now it turns out I can even rebake the recipe and try these delicous treats!
Thank you so much chef John!

Mmmm mmm I should give those a try. I've never used almond flour anywhere and those goodies looks like a great place to start. I'd like to have some good dunking breakfast donut with my morning coffee. Thanks

I bought the doughnut molds and made them once. They sucked because I did them wrong. After all, I'm the key proponent of my terrible doughnuts. So I'm going to try your method, it looks much better.

Agree with Michelle, but sprinkles wwould have worked, also.
This looks like it would make a nice 2-layer cake, as well, with chocolate icing and toasted coconuts.

Glad to see you making a keto recipe. well, close if you substitute the maple with allulose or erythritol. Hope you do more, as I think they would be very popular

6: 12 Michelle was wrong. More chocolate is NEVER wrong. :D
. and it guarantees some crunchy chocolate if you haven't tempered your dipping chocolate. :D
