Today I am cooking at home and making soft flour tortillas. I will be showing you tips for achieving a soft flour tortilla and freezer storage. Hopefully, I answer questions you may have had when making tortillas at home. Ingredients 3 cups flour 1 tsp salt 2 tsp baking powder (I said baking soda in video, that was a mistake ) 3 Tbsp cooking oil 1 cup warm to hot water Tips for soft flour tortillas If the dough is too dry then add warm water a tablespoon at a time until the dough comes together. If the dough is too wet then add flour a tablespoon at a time until dough becomes workable. Be sure to rest after kneading and after rolling out. The overuse of flour during the rollout process may yield a dry flour tortilla. Be sure griddle is preheated to the point that small wisps of smoke are visible on the surface. If tortilla does not form bubbles with in the first 10 seconds of cook time, then the griddle needs to be hotter

I love your videos. They are easy to follow and you always include crucial tips that many other creators forget to advise on. When I made tortillas it was hit or miss. Sometimes they were great and others times they turned out aweful. I never had exact measurements. I did not know that time kneading the Dough had such a big impact. Thank you.

If I make mine thin, they turn to crackers when they're cooled off. And mine doesn't bubble much either. I prefer a little thick but then they're not plyable after they cool off. I've used your exact recipe. I'm doomed!

My 100 year old grandmother, whose been making flour tortillas since she's 8 years old, complains that commercial tortillas lack baking powder. Help! I want my grandma' to enjoy tortillas?

Thank u for the recipe. I have never freeze tortilla, u spoke about it getting hard on top, if u oil it it doesn't get hard. i usually grease mine with shortening but I refrigerate them.

This question is referring to your soy sauce boiled eggs video. Where did you get that round red spatula you used to flip your pancakes? Thank you.

Ooof. I thought it was gunna be store bought. I got a bunch on deal. This was great, though. Might need to get a masa grinder.

Feels nice to watch someone who is a real person and not some overly exagerrated witty personality. Straight to the point.
