I decided to experiment with an easy chili and beans recipe for dinner. It turned out to be an Instant Pot fail, but a win for dinner! Ingredients 2 lbs of 90/10 lean ground beef 2 Tbsp light fancy chili powder (not spicy) 2 tsp smoked paprika 1 1/2 tsp granulated garlic powder 1 1/2 tsp ground cumin 1/2 tsp black pepper 1 chipotle pepper in adobo sauce 3 Tbsp tomato paste 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce 1 Tbsp yellow mustard 1 envelope of beef onion soup mix seasoning 2 (15 oz) cans of Ranch Style beans 2 cups water (I used 1 cup and that is probably why it failed) 1 1/2 Tbsp cornstarch mixed w/ 1 1/2 Tbsp of cold water

I've always used the can of pinto beans in mine actually Goya pink beans. I do believe I'm going to try ranch style beans in my next batch of chili just for fun. Also, I use a little bit of cornmeal to tighten up my chili. I got lazy one day and the corn meal was right there so I just tossed a little bit in and it worked beautifully. Be safe, stay well, love from Texas.

That looks delicious. May I suggest never put your dry seasoning in before you add your water or liquid to the pot that always help me to know the water is touching the bottom and no dry spices are at the bottom. It doesn t take much to set of the burn notice. Great save and I know your family enjoyed them. Looking forward to your next video

The entire time I was watching this I was trying to figure out what the advantage of using the instant pot was. Personally I love the long slow simmer on the stove to really meld the chili together. Rushing chili and spaghetti sauce was always a big no no in my house. My spaghetti sauce still takes 8 hours lol

Embrace deliberately pronouncing it exactly as it is spelled and carefully articulate every syllable.
