I watch all of your cooking vidoes and have made a lot of your recipes, but I never comment. This video, however, made me miss my midwestern upbringing and my grandma and grandpa so much that I decided to take the time to comment.
I have a very close friend (who also happens to be Mexican) and I've always told her that the Mexican culture is very close to the midwestern culture where I grew up in southeastern Iowa. This video proved my point on that, it made me so homesick! Thank-you for sharing your wonderful family with us!

Made me cry. You re blessed to still have your grandparents with you. My suggestion, ask your grandparents questions about their grandparents and record their stories, maybe do your family tree with their info while you still can. Don t be like me and be sorry that I didn t ask mine questions. In 20-30 years, you ll be glad you did.

How sweet they look! Breakfast looks amazing. And your hubby looks great in that suit. Your grandparents are adorable! What great food! Love that your kids adore them they will always have great memories of going to Abuelo, and Abuela s house and the stories they told.

That brought tears to my eyes. I don't have grandparents alive but I am grand mother and my parents are in their 90s and they sound so alike to your grandparents. You are so blessed.

Nothing like family meals. Wehost our girls & grandkids every Friday evening and last Friday I used some of your method for fixing the shredded beef and chicken for taco night.

There is something about going to your abuelos where time stops and your forever 5 years old. I remember we had beans and eggs w/ tortillas always. Awesome share
